No on the suspect. I've ran this tourney a few times before and this came up a few times, so I deferred to the Disc Golf Answer Man and ask Bobby, Robert and Emac (back in the good ole days!) their opinion and they all said it was best classified as a midrange!

find this topic interesting in that there doesn't seem to be a consensus, it just depends on who you ask. Infinite discs classifies the harp and zone as putters while the suspect is listed as a midrange despite the flight numbers being very similar. On dynamic discs website it says the harp is a midrange. A recent Paul mcbeth YouTube video was a putter only challenge and he used a zone because it says "putt and approach" on it. In older discraft videos paige pierce calls the zone a midrange and Scott stokley now has a tour series harp he calls a midrange. I really like the idea for this tournament but stuff like this complicates it imo. I agree that if zones and harps are allowed, a suspect should be as well. I'm not trying to argue just saying as a TD it isn't clear one way or the other.

Yeah, its pretty tricky. I've been running a tourney like this for four years now -- so I'm used to it. The older runs of suspects said putt and approach, so that is why I allowed it before. At the end of the day, its a fun - player friendly tourney so that's why I'm relaxed on it. I allow some of the prodigy a-series discs because until the px3 came out the prodigy only guys had nothing stable in the PA series and the first time I ran this it was an open course that is usually windy, so I tired to make the playing field fair.
