Hey everyone, I am seeing comments about a player who is 980 rated being deemed a bagger or that he shouldn’t be playing MA1. I would suggest You read the PDGA rules on ratings and what division ratings place players to play. MA1 players are players above 935. Which this player is higher than 935, also the PDGA states any player who plays in Open and accepts cash has to change their player classification to Pro. This player has never played as a pro. There are players in much larger tournament such as AM worlds where 1000+ rated players are playing MA1. This tournament is for a good cause and to have fun. Every player is playing the same lay out so regardless of what division players play in their round effects the entire field.
Let’s have fun and throw for a good cause!
