We are down to the last 5 weeks of the Northeast Ohio Indoor Putting League Season!!! A couple important updates are below:
1. Next week we will be doing our "Wheel of Misfortune" game for rounds 2 and 3. For round 2, from the first two stations, you will spin the wheel to determine what style of putt you will be throwing from the first two stations (12 and 20 feet). Wheel options for this will include things like Turbo Putt, Forehand Putt, Opposite Hand Putt, etc. Stations 3-5 will remain standard for the rest of the round, with a possibility of an elevated or precision basket in play. For round 3, on stations 3-5, you will spin the wheel again to determine what type of basket you will be putting on for those stations. This will include options like Standard Basket, Precision Basket, Pole Hole, and may be few other aggravating options. For stations 1 and 2, a slight hazard will be in play for this round as well. This should be fun and help even the playing field in some cases and will hopefully give some new players a shot at cashing. This is a new thing I am trying out, so bear with me for this initial go-thru.
2. I am going to offer the opportunity to get extra tickets for the basket raffle for the last 5 weeks. Tickets can be earned by donating prizes that can be used at our league party and should be disc golf related. For every disc or item valued at $15, you will receive 2 tickets for the raffle. This will increase the chances for players to win one of the two baskets we will be giving away at the party. So if you have some discs or other DG items laying around not in use, this is a great opportunity to donate to the league and get extra chances at the 2 grand prizes!!
3. I noticed today a sticker on the brand new Axiom Pro basket that MVP Disc Sports donated to league that indicates that the color ORANGE.
