January Poker Pot: $20
(only includes buy-ins for week 1-2)
During the 2nd week, 11 people entered the Poker Side game, leaving the pot at $20, as we allowed 4 people who missed week 1 to join in. One player owes $2, which puts the actual pot at $22. This month's hand is a Hold Em variation hand. Cards are drawn as follows:
Week 1 - 1 card
Week 2 - 1 card
Week 3 - 3 cards "Community Flop" drawn, followed by 1 card per player
Week 4 - 1 card
The Community Flop is shared by all players. At the end of the month, the best 5 card poker hand wins. This can be from any combo of the 7 total cards that include the 4 cards drawn and the Flop.
Even if you didn't enter the first week, you can still enter. But you can only have cards available for each week that you pay. This still leaves 2 cards in play (plus the Flop cards) for anybody that missed out in weeks 1 or 2. In the instance that you miss a week, a "tentative" card will be pulled for you after all present players have gotten their card. Once you pay for that missed week, you will get to see your card. This is only the case once you buy in for a week.
I am also offering the opportunity to pay for all weeks ahead of time if needed. So if you want to pay the buy-in the first week (or the remainder at any given week), you are more than welcome to. A good bit of people decided to do this for the first week, and it's the easiest way to make sure you get a card each week (just in case I forget about you and don't pull a tentative card).
