It's a go!! A huge THANK YOU to the Garage Bar in Willoughby for welcoming us back for the 2021-22 season!!!
The League Opener will be on Tuesday 12/7/21 with a 6:30 start time. Baskets should be up around 6 for practice. The format will be similar to years past with 5 stations and 3 putts per station and a total of 3 rounds. So be sure to bring at least 3 putters to keep the pace moving. I will also bring some spare putters for those who may not have 3. League will tentatively run through the end of March.
The League Entry fee will remain $5. This will help cover the cost of the MVP Pro basket that will be purchased and used at league and then raffled off at the end of the season. To be eligible to win the basket, you will have had to have paid the $5 League Entry fee. Once the entry fee is paid, you will get a ticket for each league night you play. At the end of the season at the league party, a ticket will be drawn to determine who wins the basket. The League Entry fee is optional. But to have a chance to win a basket and some other prizes at the end of the year, you must have paid into it.
We will also keep the A and B pools for this season. Pool entry detail is below:
"A" Pool -- $10 weekly entry
$1 to League Party
$1 to League Leaders fund (top 3-5 to be paid out)
$1 to Side Games winner
"B" Pool -- $6 weekly entry
$1 to League Party
$1 to League Leaders fund (top 3-5 to be paid out)
$1 to Side Games winner
$3 to weekly payout (1st - 35%, 2nd - 25%, 3rd - 20% 4th - 15%, 5th - 5%)
****There must be at least 11 players in a pool for the top 5 to be paid. If there are 10 players or less, the payouts scale will be: 1st - 45%, 2nd - 35%, 3rd - 20%
This is a Putting League and the B Pool is intended for new and inexperienced players. This is not like a Scrambles A/B Pool. So the majority of players should be playing in the A Pool.
