Welcome to the 2021 Pearl River Rundown!
We are happy to welcome you to Columbia, MS and to be hosting you at the Pearl River Landing DGC. While in town please stop in at THE DECK for your breakfast or lunch, with 2 locations you can find them easily and they serve good food for a great price. There is one on HWY 98 coming into town from the East and another on Main St.
When you arrive at the Columbia Water Park, you will see that there is only one road in and out of the park and it just makes a big loop through the park around the ball fields. We will most likely have a ball field fence open and will all park in an orderly fashion in the outfield of that particular field. I will get back to you all on that though.
When you go through the fence/gate of the park you can turn to the right and go down a gravel road, turn left and take the loop around or continue straight. We will take advantage of this and break up player check in using those options.
· Continue straight - MA2, MA1, MA40, MA50, MA60, MPO, MPM
MA2 should receive a $10 Largemouth Money voucher
· Turn left - MJ12, MJ15, MA4, MA3, FA4, FA3, FA2, FP40
All these divisions should receive a player pack of their choosing
You will see either me or a volunteer on the side of the road checking people in, so please stop when you do. ALL players MUST check in before the tourney starts! You will have a chance to purchase additional raffle tickets then as well, if you choose.
Player check in 7:15 - 8:45 am
NO players meeting (all info will come in emails and be posted online)
Be at your hole ready to play at 8:55
Tee off at 9:00
Tee assignments:
1st round
Red tees (shorts) - Juniors, All Novice, All Rec.'s, MA60, FA2, FP40
White tees (middle) - MA2, MA1, MA40, MA50, MPO, MPM, MPG, FPO
2nd round
Red tees - Juniors & Novice Women ONLY
White tees - MA4, MA3, MA2, MA40, MA50, MA60, FP40, FA2, FA3
Blue tees - MA1, MPO, MPM, MPG, FPO
Out-of-Bounds;
-paved road that enters and circles through the park
-wooden fence on #3 and #13
-over the ball park fence or under pavilion surrounded by concrete on temp #16
-clearly across gravel road, surrounded by grass on #14 & 15.
-MANDO on #12 pro tee. Proceed to white tee with a stroke penalty.
Player Packs:
All juniors, novice, recreational & Ladies of any division will get a choice of the following 3 things;
1) A $15 voucher that you can use towards any purchase from my stock (except Tour Series & Halos)
2) An Innova or Dynamic Discs short sleeve tee-shirt
3) An Innova swag bag containing a keychain bottle opener shaped like a DG basket, lapel pin, sticker sheet, and a $5 off DGU card.
Deductions:
· $2 per player for the PDGA
· $10 per MA2 for player pack voucher
· $12 per player pack chosen by other divisions
