There will be a Veteran's 5K this Sunday morning at River Bends so we will be all parking in the east lot and have the morning's check-in at the north pavilion by basket 25 / tee pad 26. The 1st round will be played on holes 10 - 27 while the 5K is in progress. While you are all playing your 1st round, we will be setting up the upper course. We will take the 1st round scorecards at the same north pavilion then transition everyone to the upper course middle pavilion for the 2nd round. The 2nd round we will be playing holes 1 - 9 then the upper 9 holes clockwise around the pavilion with the last hole playing from the southeast corner of the parking lot to the practice basket.
The current course is still a little wet. As the temps are reporting warmer weather for the weekend, you may want to wear your waterproof socks. I plan on getting out to the course on Saturday and marking the upper temp holes. I hope everyone enjoys the extra hour of sleep this Sunday.
