Good afternoon!
I wanted to get this tournament email out this afternoon. Cheryl and I are super excited about the upcoming Crossover Fall Fling #2 at Osage Grove this Saturday.
The following will be the most important details for the event. Please reach out to us if you have any additional questions or
comments before the event.
The event is Saturday, 11/6 at Osage Grove in Goshen.
The schedule will look like this for the day:
9-940a - Player check in (it will be by hole #1)
9:40-9:45a - Players Meeting
10a - Shotgun Start
@1p - Awards and payouts
It's going to be a fun day and event. The layout is shorter, and pretty efficient. We will play the following holes:
1, A-E, 2-18, Temp to practice basket, 19 (25 holes). We will throw from the RED tee on every hole. We will play the hole order of 13, 15, 14, 16 on the back side of the course. The only OB we will play is in the creek surrounded by water (letter holes and hole 6). Any other water will be played as casual. It will be a very friendly layout.
I will have hole assignments up by Friday night, but just know that they could change due to players dropping/adding last minute. Due to different numbers in each division, we will have to combine some divisions on cards where needed. Since this is a shotgun start, there is no need to request card mates. There is no benefit like there is when an event is tee times.
For those who are in the ACE fund, if no ACE is hit, we will do a throw off where the it will be split 60/40.
In the event there is a tie for first place, they playoff will start on hole #1 until there is a winner playing BLUE tees (no letter holes).
At the completion of the round, we will do awards and payouts. As per PDGA, the top 40% will receive a payout. The Open players will receive cash/PayPal, and the AM's Crossover Cash. This can be exchanged for disc golf merchandise that we will have on hand.
We will use PDGA Live scoring. The access code is: osage
This is a PDGA event, so everyone should be up to date on the PDGA's stance on what is legal and what is not legal.
In the event you are going to withdraw, to be eligible for a full refund, you need to submit your request by 8p Thursday (11/4).
It's going to be a great day. Please contact us with any questions you may have!
We will see you Saturday!
Thanks,
Josh and Cheryl
