New Course Update!
First, the new course IS NOT open. The City has been working hard to complete tee pads, signage, and spraying fairways. This is a very time consuming process for them.
As promised, the course will be open for a few practice days before the Panhandle Open. Please note that work is still going on during the week and many things are left to complete. Please respect the city workers and DO NOT play the course outside of the days listed below.
Course Practice Days:
Saturday 10/9
Sunday 10/10
Friday 10/15
There is still work to be done with signage, clearing some fairways, and miscellaneous other things. This course will take some time to beat in and get the fairways cleared completely, as most of these fairways were cleared over a year ago.
The pro layout has been added in UDisc. Please use this for navigation on Saturday or Sunday, even if you are playing short tees. Directional arrows and the Short Tee layout will go up early next week. AM tee layout was submitted but has not been approved by UDisc yet.
Pro/Am Holes: 4, 11, 12, 18. The rest will have a short and a long tee pad. Teepads need some dirt around them so be careful.
AGAIN: Please stay off of the course other than these days and times. The city will be working out there and do not want people in the way.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me. The gates may not be open this weekend but the Director of Parks and Rec is aware of practice times!
Thanks!
Ryan
