Hello Friends! This will be the most important post we make all year so listen up.
For those of you playing the Grand Rapids Disc Golfers United Club Championship on Saturday (September 11th), here is how things are going to work.
Check in will be at Brewer Park. The gate to the park opens at approximately 7 am. Please be courteous to the surrounding neighborhoods and houses if you happen to beat the attendant. Check In will start as soon as we can get in. Check In will be at the Pavillion by the playground and tennis courts (the first driveway in the park). Don't go to the disc golf course, nobody will be there. Picture in comments as to where it is.
CHECK IN ENDS AT 8:00 AM SHARP! If you show up at 8:01 or later you will not be able to play. No exceptions. Zero.
The staff will begin making teams and designating hole assignments. Some will be at Brewer, some will be at Jaycee Park in Kentwood. Once teams are announced we will announce the tee time for Round One (approximately 60 minutes of gap for travel and warm up). We will announce Round 2's tee time at the completion of Round One.
After the second round head on back to Brewer Park's Pavillion for a potluck provided by GRDGU as well as our payout ceremony (payouts will be digital this year via PayPal, please provide your PayPal information when you check in).
