Hello players,
There will only be a very short in person players meeting Saturday. Most things are covered here.
For the unvaccinated; Masks that cover your mouth and nose are required when you sign in or any other time you are near the store, tournament central, and in your groups if you can’t socially distance.
Hand sanitizer is available for your use before you touch any merchandise in the store.
Sign in is between 7:45am and 8:30am. 8:30am is the players meetings. The first round will start a few minutes after that.
Amateur players pack is a Discmania event disc, a Dynamic Discs event disc, a custom event tee shirt, and a Birdie Fuel coffee mug. Pick up your tee shirt at Jordan, and the rest at South Mountain. Pick them up BEFORE your round at each course.
Your starting hole is listed at https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/51861 Between rounds this will change and your new starting hole for round 2 will be at the same website.
Each card must have two people keeping score. Open person must keep score via the PDGA website and another person any other way you want. We will not have paper score cards. We have set up layouts on the PDGA site. PDGA.comscores code Awesome
For OB rulings, group decision is needed. If you can’t decide, give the benefit to the player; when in doubt play a provisional. Player must declare loudly they are playing a provisional.
No two-meter rule; no special island rules. Everything is standard PDGA rules.
Bring plenty of water; and this may be a good time for this year to wear sunscreen & bug spray.
Capital Discs store will be open during the entire event at Jordan Creek. “Bringing you the discs, gear and accessories you need to push your disc golf game to the next level.” https://capitaldiscs.com/
The B.S. Bochantin Upshot store will be open during the entire event at South Mountain. We accept Venmo, Paypal, Cash and your unwanted discs.
For those swapping their unwanted plastic, give us your discs before your SOMO round. We will value them as you play, and you can spend that value after you finish your round. We are not accepting any swaps between rounds of after second round. DX are $1 value currently.
We will be paying out approximately the top 40% of the division. Please don’t leave without your prizes.
For any first-place tie breaker playoffs, start hole 1 from the shortest tee. MA1 can redeem their script prizes at SOMO with B.S. Bochantin Upshot. All other amateurs can redeem their script with Capital Discs at Jordan.
We have currently collected $480 for the ace pot. If you did not pay online, you can pay the $5 as you sign in. Whatever the total amount collected, B.S. Bochantin Upshot will pay that value to each person who hits an ace.

South Mountain has bees on holes 4 and 14. We will be flagging off an area around them. This flagged area is Casual Relief, so get out of that area with no penalty.
At Jordan we will have flags in some areas to better define the OB lines. Specifically the left side of hole 4 and second creek of hole 18.
The bathrooms by hole 7&8 at South Mountain are open. We will have a port-a-john at Jordan.
The start time of the second round will be put in the comments of the event on Disc Golf Scene.
