Obviously, I do not know the situation that you experienced during the tournament that lead you to this conclusion but I do feel that MOST players will help you look for a lost disc. I also have faith that MOST players will return a lost disc to the TD if they remember that they have it in their bag when they return to tournament central. Regarding the "caught up in the pace of play" comment, please keep in mind that there are rules for a lost disc and how much time can be spent searching for said disc. I hope that your disc is returned to you and that you enjoy more tournaments in the future.
