Tournament Information:
TD: Scott Williams, Asst. TD: Larry Bright
I want to thank the Friends of Punderson group, of which I am a member, for supporting me in putting on this tournament. Current officers are Paul Keller (President), Mel Martin (Vice-president), Larry Bright (Treasurer), and Scott Williams (Secretary).
I also want to thank everyone in the past that has designed, helped build and maintain this course, as well as serve as part of the FoP. This long list includes, but is not limited to; Tom Mote, Andy Morrison, Sarge, Sharky, Bob Becker and many, many others that I have either not met, or can’t recall right now.
Check in, break, and awards/payouts will all be handled off-site at Kiwana's Community Hall, located at 14685 View Drive, Newbury, OH. This is only about 5 minutes away from the course located right off Elm Drive, which is about 1/2 mile west off of Rt 87 (Kinsman) from the main park entrance. Elm Drive (which is located directly across from the Animal Hospital) ends right into the parking lot for this Community Hall. ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK-IN AT THIS LOCATION PRIOR TO THE EVENT WITH NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!
All players will be required to sign the PDGA waiver (on their player card) during check-in.
This is two rounds of 18 holes at Punderson State Park. The first round is “Great White Short” that will be played to the short baskets on holes 2, 9, 12 and 15, starting hole one Red. The second round is “Tiger Long” that will be played to the long baskets on holes 2, 9, 12 and 15, starting hole one on Blue. Both of these layouts are in UDisc with hole maps.
We will be using PDGA Live scoring for this event. To keep score go to pdga.com/score the score card access code is FLY21. I highly suggest that two independent scores are kept for each round. Paper score cards will be available for each layout if you don’t want to use digital scoring, and both layouts are in UDisc as “Great White Short” and “Tiger Long”.
I will be setting the cards using the Tournament Manager page, so your card should already be good to go with the correct starting hole when the tournament begins. I will also be attempting to set the cards for the second round as well. That should mean that you do NOT have to return to tournament central in between rounds 1 and 2. Please check discgolfscene.com and the PDGA Live scoring event pages for information on hole assignments and starting times.
Larry and I are the only two individuals that can make official rulings on the day. When in doubt , call a Provisional and play the hole to completion both ways.
OB Sheets will be a separate attachment and available at check in as well. Please read through them for hole 2 in the second round.
