As most of you know, the Punderson disc golf course is maintained and improved exclusively by volunteers. Maintaining the fairways is always a challenge and there are plans for improving drainage, signage, OB markings, and tee pad frames. We could use more help!
You are already helping by participating in our tournament and many of you will be volunteering out of community spirit and love for the game. But we have an added incentive! Anyone who shows up for one of our workdays and puts in three or more hours will get priority sign-up for all our tournaments the following year. If this is something you would like to do, e-mail [email redacted] or speak directly to Larry, Andy, or myself. We’ll send you a text whenever a workday is planned.
Fundraising is also part of the effort. Last winter, We found that we could unload our used disc inventory for a good return on Ebay. That has inspired us to try a disc consignment program. We’ll take your extra discs, sell them on Ebay, and split the proceeds 50/50 between you and the club. If this interest you, you can drop off those extra discs at the tournament.
