Event Recap:
I would like to take a few moments to thank you all for coming out and playing in Daywalkers. WC Glow appreciates your support and we hope you enjoyed playing the course. We know that the park staff has put a lot of effort in maintaining the park, and they continue to revise parts of the courses. We had great weather, sunny skies, and some slightly breezy conditions. Overall, the conditions were pretty favorable for an event day.
Thank you to members of Team WC Glow who were in attendance to help out: Bo Fought, Nate Krumm, Jen Trombley, Phil Common, and Chris Kerns (I don't think I left anyone out). Thank you also to anyone who provided help during the day or offered a helping hand. We appreciate our DG community and their willingness to get involved.
Congratulations to all our division winners. I have trophies that were delivered on Saturday afternoon (they we scheduled for delivery on Friday). I will be in contact to get them shipped out to one of you shortly (unless you in my local area where meeting up may be an option). Congratulations to Trent Barr for winning the Ace Pool, and Chris Dunkel for taking home the 50-50.
I will work on getting official scores posted here on DGS and getting the TD report submitted. There are a few small things I need to clean up before that can happen. Please keep in mind that since this is a doubles event, you will not receive ratings for your rounds that factor into your player rating. You will however receive your points with the PDGA which are used for things such as major event invitations.
Please let me know if you lost anything....there were a re few items left in the Lost and Found pile at the end of the day. Also let me know if you have any questions. Shoot me a message here on DGS.
Next event takes place on Sunday Aug 1 which is The Kellie Jo Memorial.....This is our Fundraiser Event for Huntington's Disease where all money made during the event (including or raffle packages which included bags, baskets, and some other pretty nice items last year) are donated to the Huntington's Disease Society of America.
