Wednesday Nights in the Pines Finale WAS A BLAST!!!!

Thanks to the 18 Players that made tonight the BEST FINALE by FAR!!!!!!

Over the past 4 Years we have seen some changes! From Tag Challenges to PDGA L-Tier Leagues. This league has become a staple in my heart. I truly want to thank ALL the players that have come out to these weekly leagues that have seen some amazing talent.

Thanks to those who have helped along the way with making it a better league year to year. From those helping with scores, tags, or CTP Throwoffs! You guys know who you are and how much I appreciate you each and every night!

I want to exclusively point out a pairing of folks that came about our league in 2015, and whom never threw before. Team Ruggles. We met them at one of our FIRST Wednesday Nights, back when it was still 9inthePines. It has been an honor to watch them grow as a family and as players. Nanette, Sean, and John Ruggles have not only evolved as players but as disc golf enthusiasts! This is exactly what its all about. Thank you folks for your continuous belief in the Club, the sport, and the community at large. Thank you!

Tonight we played 1 Round from the White Tees as always.

Congrats to our A Pool Winners tied with a score of 57 (-6). They had a Rock, Paper, Scissors "Throw Off" for the Win. I think T Bart Bata threw a Rock to Kyle McClain's Scissors.

Congrats to B Pool Winner Stuart Craig who tied Rich Myros but won in an actual Throw Off to take the win with a score of 72 (-+9)

Congrats to C Pool Winner Mark Fobes with a score of 69(+6) - Guess what, he didn't tie anyone Way to go MARK!!!!

Tonight we threw off for our Seasonal Ace Fund. $475 Total
An Ace tonight would have taken 75% of that fund home with them, but alas, no Ace hits this season.
The $475 was then split in half, $237 is not been donated to the SVDGA for our Club Insurance. Thank you Players!
The remaining $238 was then split again into a $118 and $120 Funds. The $118 will start our 2019 Wednsday Nights in the Pines Ace. The $120 was thrown off from the Top of the Stairs to the #3 Basket.

Congrats to Jason Wood on taking home that $120 Purse!!!! Great throw!!!

Also tonight we had our Borderline Discs End of Season Dynamic Discs Recruit Basket Giveaway.
This basket was specifically donated and paid for by myself and Borderline Discs. No Player was charged for a chance to win this basket. This was something to help attract players as well as give back to a community that made me who I am. To show how grateful I am.

Congrats to Matt Durisko for being the Winner of our First End of Season Giveaway.

Door Prizes included a The Maynard 2018 Tournament Stamped Criminal Metal Flake: won by Rich Myros and a Borderline Discs "Halloween Chainiac T-Shirt" won by Luke Shelton.

Such a great season! Thank you players!!! I really look forward to the upcoming SVDGA Indoor Putting League 2018/2019 and hope you will join us October 10th for our Kick Off!!! This season we are giving away a Dynamic Discs Marksman Basket among many nightly prizes and side games. This year is sure going to be an BurkFest Putting League! LOLOL (Enter sinister laugh)

Although I am extremely stoked for March 20th to arrive for our 2019 Season!!!

Super thanks to the Shenango Valley Disc Golf Alliance - SVDGA and all of the Active Club Members and Council that help us to achieve these awesome events. Without you guys and gals, I don't event wanna think about it!
