Fun-Round Postponed!!!

Looks like tomorrow will be a nightmarish day to play disc so we'll be doing the player payouts and fun-round this Saturday October 28 at 1pm.

For any that can't make new time, ill still bring all the payouts to the Tuesday time as usual!

Bonus Round!!

Good times, good times!!

We ended the season strong with a great turnout for the season’s last showdown!

Big props to Ryan and Ashur for taking the round by only two strokes!

No feeling bad for Ron and Ken in second since the team ran off with both CTP prizes!

No aces were hit this season! So that means i’ll be able to pay more people out!

One last time around!

Ok everyone! The last week of the season is coming on up so I’m just gonna update everyone on what’s going to happen.

First off I’d like to thank everyone who showed up for this season of league-play and for their support of WEDG! Give yourselves a pat on the back because you all will be the reason for the next event we host!

Ok everyone! The last week of the season is coming on up so I’m just gonna update everyone on what’s going to happen.

First off I’d like to thank everyone who showed up for this season of league-play and for their support of WEDG! Give yourselves a pat on the back because you all will be the reason for the next event we host!

This will be the last week to get in on the Ace pool so bring your best tosses! If no one hits an ace this week the pool will be dissolved into the seasonal payout!

The following week on October 24th @5:30pm we will be doing a free-league-fun-round(no money needed, just come out!)! I will be organizing many CTP prizes (every third hole should have a prize!) as a thank you to everyone who made this season possible!

Also after the October 24th fun-round I will be paying out all seasonal prizes to those who earned them! So make sure to come out!

Word's spreading!

A windy day couldn't stop a great turnout today for our humble Tuesday-league!

Now I know it isn't the easiest thing to working up the nerve to visit your awesome local league for the first time.
Which is why most important shout-out of the day goes to our bold, new members, welcome Lexie, Mike, Catrina and Bob to the Tuesday crew glad to have y'all along for some throws!

A windy day couldn't stop a great turnout today for our humble Tuesday-league!

Now I know it isn't the easiest thing to working up the nerve to visit your awesome local league for the first time.
Which is why most important shout-out of the day goes to our bold, new members, welcome Lexie, Mike, Catrina and Bob to the Tuesday crew glad to have y'all along for some throws!

The wind did its best to raise our scores but couldn't stop Ryan and Bob, shooting an impressive five-under in the super-gusty conditions! The great turnout provided prizing to first and second place finishers today so congrats to Matt and Spencer, keeping the competition close with a four-under bid at the day!

And the community-fueled prizes don't end there! Kudos to Ron for scoring a sweet, over-inked suspect from dynamic discs for his CTP prize!

ABC easy as 123!!

Season UPDATE!

The beautifully windy day summoned a strong crew to Lakewood for some intense league play!

The closest of close-matches was separated by only a stroke today! Congrats to Ashur and Spencer for cinching it, scoring eight-under on a fun 19-hole layout (1A was a blast!)

The formidable numbers we brought out today commanded TWO discs to be prized out in CTPS! Ryan took the Hole#1 prize and snagged a sweet Innova Gummy Tern while the Hole#8 prize was won by Jeremy, (by less than an inch to Ron!) ... more

And likewise congratulations to Ben for claiming a shiny Titanium Challenger by putting his disc an inch from the pole on Hole 8.

Breezy don't describe it!

Finally, a windy day! This Tuesday greeted us with wailing winds and gusts making for a tough day of disc golf!

The Ace pool has grown to $60, line up your throws on hole 8!
We have been doing a fantastic job getting discs into the hands of players with the help of WEDG and fattening the coffers.

Come, rain, or shine, or rain, or more rain!

Big props to the guys who made it out this week as we were treated to a flooded course thick with puddles! But still great times!

Keeping-a-move-on!

Close second week, and great shooting everyone!

Gotta throw out a congrats to Ken and Matt for taking the CTP prizes home this week!

A portion of this week's daily prize pool has been placed towards next week's CTP prizes. The payout was disproportional due to the odd-man-out (Yours truly) winning the round!

The Ace Pool has been bolstered to $42, and thanks to our continued support of WEDG, we will keep getting awesome CTP prizes supplied to us!

So look forward to another shiny disc getting posted up here soon!

First Week of Summer-Fall League!

Special thanks to everyone that helped start the season strong!

Congratulations to Ron and Jeremy, scoring some sweet CTP prizes and making all their fellow disc golfers envious!

We quickly grew the ace pool to $32 and cumulatively raised $18 for the WEDG coffers to ensure future disc-golf-related shenanigans at Lakewood!

Hello past present and future disc golfers of Essex County! Ashur is starting up this league and we are going to bring it with the fun, and the games, and the ace pool. I'm really excited for this, and we kick things off officially on Tuesday August 15th at 6pm at Lakewood Park. This league will run up until late October and there will be awards/payouts based on your overall season performance as well as weekly payouts.
