Tree Love Thursdays at J-Hills

Tree Love Thursdays at J-Hills is a weekly PDGA-rated flex league hosted by Flying Frog Supply Co.

The goal is simple: I know the Cincinnati area has been desperately lacking rated disc golf, so we figured we would bravely add one more league to the pile.

Tree Love Thursdays will run every Thursday for 8 weeks, starting Thursday, June 11.

Weekly Layout Schedule:
6/11 - Front Short, Back Long
6/18 - Short Tees
6/25 - Long Tees
Remaining weeks - TBD

This is a flex-start league. Players may show up on league day and play with a card of 3 to 5 players.

No cards of fewer than 3 players will be accepted.
Cards may not have more than 5 players.

Weekly entry is $5 total:

$2 Beat Your Number” Prize
Each week, $2 from every entry goes into a weekly prize for the player who shoots the most above their number. We will start by using PDGA ratings, but once you have a league average, that becomes the number we use instead. This helps keep it fair as the league goes on.
$1 ace fund
$1 future event fund / course fund
$0.50 PDGA player fee
$0.50 sanctioning/event fee recoup

The ace fund is capped at $300.

If no ace is hit, the ace fund will carry over to the next league week until it is hit or reaches the cap.

Once the ace fund reaches $300, any additional ace fund money collected will go into a future ace pot.

If Tree Love Thursdays continues into a future session, any remaining ace fund money will carry over to that next session.

If the league does not continue, any remaining ace fund money will be used to support future disc golf events, course needs, or a disc golf club donation around the Cincinnati area.

Any donation or use of remaining ace fund money will be posted publicly. This money will not be kept for personal use.

The future event fund / course fund supports Tree Love Thursdays, course needs, and future event efforts at Johnson Hills, with the hope of building toward a future C-tier or B-tier tournament down the road.

This is a PDGA-rated singles league. Players must check in before their round and play the assigned league layout for that week. Layout details and hole notes will be listed through PDGA scoring.
