Ready for Rolling??

This Sunday we're at Rolling Hills, and drawing cards at the usual 1:30.

One of the many CTPs is a double signed Iron Samurai disc from Eagle McMahon & Simon Lizzotte!! Anyone has a chance to win it on Hole #10.

Mary Beth Doyle this Sunday! 9.12.2021 @ 1PM

After a two week break, SFD is back at Mary Beth Doyle this Sunday at 1PM! As always, we're drawing cards for partners no later than 1:30. I'm currently in Kalamazoo getting some special CTPs for the round, and couldn't be more excited to get back to the home course and see our friends again.

Only a few weeks left in the season, but we have some fall plans in store... So stay tuned for more details to come, and we hope to see you Sunday!

Heading to Hudson Original

While we were slated to play Lakeshore this week, a new player won the "Where are we playing?" CTP and chose Hudson Mills Original. Because we had a season record 29 players last week (enough of whom don't have dg scene on their RADAR), we are obliged to honor that request and not disappoint new friends who cannot make a last minute adjustment. SFD will be at Lakeshore next week, and we'll be picking up many of our CTPs up from the favorite local spot before the round (Suppor ... more

While we were slated to play Lakeshore this week, a new player won the "Where are we playing?" CTP and chose Hudson Mills Original. There will be 10 CTPs tomorrow at Hudson Original, and we will meet at the practice basket picnic bench at 1PM, drawing cards no later than 1:30. Quite a few regular folks are going to be playing a few tourneys in the area, but your King & Queen are very excited for The Sunday that is CERTAINLY going to be a FUNDAY!

Rolling towards Super Team!

We had a fine showing of over twenty friends at Rolling Hills, and played 18 holes from the shorts with a three way tie at -9 for first and did a shoot off on Hole #1 to decide the winners of the day. Many CTP prizes were fought for and won, but it doesn't compare to the ones we'll have for the Super Team Round this Sunday @ Mary Beth Doyle.

MBD'd it like we own it.

A excellent time was had by those in attendence, with three new folks joining our SFD foray. We played Mary Beth Doyle (Brown Park for some), and with a decisive victory by a single stroke were Brian Wilson and your co-league-leader: J.R. Braman with -16 on the day. Great shooting fellas!!

Bandy'd round the rain.

While the forecast presented some looming weather, we escaped with only minor sprinkles here and there, it was a great day with a wonderful group of folks Erin and I are proud and happy to call friends! We did a round of Red/Red, and had 9 CTPs out there to shoot for twice. I don't recall who won them all, but many went to Matt Bates (damn fine doubles partner if you ever get the chance), Joe Waller and especially the new guy Cole.

Expect the usual crazy amount of CTPs, and a round to remember. Not everyone checks this as often as Facebook, so be sure to have the SFD FB on your social media RADAR if weather seems it could pose an issue. Erin is in charge of that page, and she responds much quicker than I often can :)

Sunday Funday @ Rolling Hills OG @ 2PM!!

League starts at two tomorrow instead of usual time. Had a few requests to delay it, for a number of reasons, so we are accommodating the fathers who want to come and otherwise couldn't if we stick with the usual 1pm meet up. It's the summer solstice & a few folks are driving hours to join - so let's make the most of the longest day of the year!!

With some families coming, we'll be doing groups of sixes and you can choose the group you play with (we shall still be draw ... more

My brother will joining us from Kalamazoo, so do you best not to confuse him with me... Which can be difficult, as he plays a convincing double when the situation calls for it.

Sunday Funday at Bandy Re-Cap

We had 19 disc golfers for our second week in a row, but this time there were eight new players! The cards decided our partners and grouping yet again, but your Queen and I are certain new friendships were forged. Twelve unique ctps marked the way, and the white tees proved a fiery foe for many a card, and after a throw off for third - The Mike's took it home. Here are your winners on the day:

We all had an excellent time, and looking forward to more good vibes this coming Sunday at Rolling Hills. There will be a special pre round CTP for the best three rounds on the labyrinth course before we draw cards at 130, and you can start as early as noon - so long as you play with at least one other player in the league. One shot each hole. Most makes wins.

As RG claimed it with his CTP, we're at Bandy this Sunday. Seeing as it is one of our home courses, there shall be more than nine CTPs!! Some see it as a nine hole disc golf course, but our lot will be doing Red tees & White tees - with ladies having the option of playing reds on any hole they like. The CTPs are as follows:

We had a hot but certainly fun day at MBD! Nineteen players braved the early June heat to run some aces and make new friends, while trying to wick sweat from our faces and discs to do our best with a ship load of CTPs on the day. If I missed one, leave it in the comments!

We thank everyone who came out and sincerely hope all went home smiling. We're at Bandy this week, and going to continue the good vibes by having a CTP on every hole! The caviat here... we're playing red followed by whites, but any lady on any card, has the option of choosing to play reds any hole they wish! But ANYONE has a chance to run every CTP twice... Unless you're a dude and it's the ladies only CTP.

Sunday Funday shirts and first league day!

Our custom tye dye T Shirts are on the way! Picking up twenty to thirty this Saturday, and we will have them at registration for purchase this Sunday. Every shirt is unique, unless you'd rather a plain white with just our logo - which we'll also have a few of (not as cool, but a bit cheaper). Various sizes are available, and they will be first come - first served. Hope to see you Sunday at Mary Beth Doyle!
