Pirate's Bay Night Shift Finale! Waterworks Meet @ 6:00pm Tee @ 6:30
Well folks, it's been a long six months, but we have reached the end of this league. We've seen 48 total players through the season and played 6 different courses in the dark of night. This Saturday brings a close to what has been a great summer of glo-golf. As of now, the course fund sits at $372! I believe this will be over $400 upon completion. As of now, the course fund sits at $372! I believe this will be over $400 upon completion. This should be enough for all 27 tee signs along with a course map/rules kiosk and I will be hunting down some free trash cans as suggested by a few people.
The Ace pool currently is at $128. Normal league payout would be $78 plus whatever is added Saturday. HOWEVER... If no ace is hit Saturday, then the ace pool will instead be split in half, 50% going to the course fund and 50% going to the winner of a final showdown. To win the ace pool money there will be a two part contest, CTP/Putting. Closest 4 will then compete against each other to make the longest putt. One miss and your out!
I will have many discs up for CTP prizes and will be awarding a "Employee of the Year" at the end of the round.
Enough chatter... We will meet at 6pm and tee off by 6:30 at Waterworks! Park closes at 10pm(posted) so we will have plenty of time to play! Hope to see a lot of you out there! Til then......

Back to BRATS
Saturday night we return to BRATS for the second to last round of the league. Dress warm and bring an umbrella just in case! Ace pool is back over $100 and the course fund is pushin 350!
Come out for some CHA and support a good cause! See you at 9:00!
The 24 Chains October 10, 2014 at 11:22am
Northridge to be specific. We will continue our travels and play a course a few of us never have. Remember to dress warm! 3 weeks left til we finish up for the season. Ace pool is at $88 with 50% payout and the course fund has been raised to $330! Cha! Let's see if we can't get it over $400 by the end!
Dan Whitlock October 4, 2014 at 2:41pm
Okay... screw it
So I've been told Canton police are strict about no playing at Freedom late night. Guess we'll just have to go back to Bandemere then.
Hope everyone sees this in time.
Dan Whitlock October 4, 2014 at 11:33am
Ok, so no church.
So let's go for Freedom park. Northridge says we can play there, but we have to talk to the management office first, during the week. So it is a no go tonight, but I think next week we will play there.
As for now, grab some glo putters and maybe a midrange or two, and head out to Freedom Park in Canton for the Night Shift! Ace pool below 100, course fund above 300, let's do some work!
Dan Whitlock October 3, 2014 at 12:12pm
Suggestions for Saturday night?
So, still no word from Lakeshore. Guess they just don't us there, just like the city doesn't want us at Waterworks. Hah! We'll still play on though!!!
On that note, we've done BRATS, MBD and Bandy. Any suggestions for where we go this week? One of those three again or somewhere new? Keep in mind, we don't want to worry about being booted out.
Let me know, if I don't get any suggestions by the end of the night I say we go back to Bandy. What say you?

Another Brown Park glo fest
Lakeshore is currently working on a disc golf course event policy and as such response to us has been delayed. Hopefully they don't wait much longer. As for now, we throw at Mary Beth Doyle, aka Brown Park. Cassidy held league there last week but the weather kept everyone away. I personally have never played glow there and want to get out for a crack at it myself. Course fund is pushing near $300 right now with one month left to go. Ace pool is at $56 with 50% payout. I will have Eastern Michigan University fundraising discs with me tonight. Z Buzz, Z Crank, Z Mantis, Z Zombee... all set to $25. Tis a steep price I know, but it will help us grow the club and send multiple teams down to the National Championship in April.
That's it for now, hope to see you clock in at the Night Shift!
Dan Whitlock September 19, 2014 at 8:26pm
So I have yet to hear back from Lakeshore about continuing the Night Shift there, so this week we will keep the mix up going and play MBD. On a related note, the lady I was talking to from the city for approval at Water Works is back at work after maternity leave. I will be downtown to speak to her Monday.
Cassidy will be running the show this week, the man that drained the ace pool for $184! Speaking of, that has dropped to 50 dollars with 50% payout once again.
Meet at 9 tee at 9:30! Enjoy the night! Cha!
Dan Whitlock September 13, 2014 at 9:03am
Keeping it on the road for one more week,
Tonight will be at Bandemer Park in Ann Arbor.,

B.R.A.T.S. Glow this Saturday
Terry Calhoun has invited us out to his home course and I think this week is a great time to take him up on that offer. I will have a CTP prize for everyone and hope to see a lot of you out there this weekend!
Also, I've not had internet access in a while due to a busted modem I'm having ATT replace for me. I will get the previous scores and update all the information on here. I will also have to the winnings from the 23rd with me whenever those players return.

Hooligans and all that jazz
First off, a big thanks to all those that came out last night, there was a great turnout, 14 players, which is the highest mark we've had so far. I hope to see it get bigger! Secondly, as those that were there know, someone decided to break into a couple cars taking a GPS unit from Jeff Hepler as well as the league ace pool and cash payout money from Jay's vehicle. What goes around comes around, and that's all I can say about that. The money will be replaced, and last nights ... more

What goes around comes around, and that's all I can say about that. The money will be replaced, and last nights winners will get their rewards in the near future. We won't let some punk kids ruin our enjoyment of the game and the goals of our league!
Thirdly, as this coming weekend is the State Championships and many of us will be up in Ludington league will be cancelled for this week only and we will be back to work on Spetember 6th.
Lastly, Ace pool is currently at 198 with a payout of 148. The payout was stolen, but it will be refilled in time for the first league Ace I assure you! The course fund is now over $250! I can't wait to put this to good use at Pirate's Bay! I will have another surprise CTP giveaway for everyone on the 6th so I hope to see you all out there again!
That is all for now, hope you all enjoy the next couple weeks and until next time, GET OUT AND THROW! CHA!!!!!!!!!

Tonight at Lakeshore!
I (Dan) will be stuck at work but Jay will be there in my stead to make sure everything gets going. Hope you all have fun! Last week we played 20 safari holes, many of which were ENORMOUS! Hopefully you all get a shot at the ace pool tonight though lol.
Also, next week we will be up in Ludington for the State Championships. Do I have a volunteer to run the league? Let me know!
Dan Whitlock August 16, 2014 at 3:02pm

I'm looking for a volunteer to run league this Saturday night. Jay and I will be down in Ohio playing the M.O.B. Shootout so we won't be able to make it. The schedule calls for dubs again, and we will continue at Lakeshore.
If you're willing to step up let me know! Cha!!!!!

We will be continuing at Lakeshore, but it will be doubles this week.

Post Independence Day
If you've not had enough night time fun this weekend already, come on down to Waterworks for the Night Shift! This week, doubles on the mids and short tees. Meet at 9 tee off 9:30.
We pushed the course fund over $100 last week! Gotta keep the work going though, we aren't quite there yet, we need your help!
Dan Whitlock June 23, 2014 at 12:25pm
Well we had 4 players for the long tees this week. Scotty Duhz took home the discs for his CTP shot on 5, a Valkyrie and a No Foolin stamp Z Flick. Jay Serratos took home some cash for her CTP shot on hole 2 set the first round and holding through the second.
This Saturday will be the last of the month, meaning another singles round. Last week was twice through the short tees, this week will be once through mids and once through shorts. I will have another couple of discs up for a CTP grab.
The course fund is up to $92 so far. Let's keep up the good work on the Night Shift!
Dan Whitlock June 21, 2014 at 10:23am
Well the rain has passed and the weather will be gorgeous tonight! The last two weeks we've played both shorts and mids so tonight... 18 from the long tees. We've raised over $80 so far and an account has been started to hold the funds at Comerica. Cha!
Tonight I will have a couple discs up for grabs on a CTP for everyone. $2 donation to get into the round, everything else is optional.
Hope to see you there!

05/31/14 - Cancelled
Just a heads up for those of you that have been considering joining up with the Pirate's Bay Night Shift this Saturday. Due to the tee time for DGLO Ams Sunday morning (8:30 am), this Saturday's league is cancelled. As this was supposed to be the singles round at the end of the month, I will be pushing that to next week. That means next month will have two singles rounds, one to start the month and one to end the month.
Dan Whitlock May 24, 2014 at 5:31pm
