Our format is a normal round of 18 with each player playing individually. We have a handicap system in effect so that there is more competition between players. The way we calculate handicaps is we take the 5 most recent rounds, throw out the highest and lowest scores, and average the remaining three. Subtract that number from 54, round to the nearest whole number, and that is your handicap. If you do not have at least three rounds to average for a handicap, you can do two things
1.) You can come to league and pay without playing. You will not be able to win any payout, but the rounds you shoot will be used in your handicap for later.
2.) You can pay to play for cash, and I will put in an automatic 54 for the rounds you don't have yet.
To play for cash, every player must pay $5. We do not take any money out of the payout. We pay out the top half of the adjusted scores and round down when needed. If 3 people show up, winner takes all. If 4 people show up, top two get paid. If 5 people show up, top two get paid. Etc. Last cash will always get $5

Neosho Disc Golf League is now on Disc Golf Scene!
Neosho Disc Golf League is now being tracked on Disc Golf Scene! The leaderboard looks kind of strange because it is sorted by adjusted scores, but it shows the actual scores...The way points are awarded is last gets one point, and then for each person above that, they get one more point. In the case of a tie, the points for all tied positions get added together and then divided evenly between players.
