About this league
Fee per round $2
Join us at JUMC "The Lord's Landing" Disc Golf Course on Sundays this fall for a Handicap Singles League! Teeing off at 1pm, please arrive and check-in by 12:45. Cost is $3 per week ($1 to payout/$1 to course, plus $1 ace pot - optional but encouraged!)
We will be playing 18 holes from Short Tees each week.
Handicap will be determined by your average strokes over par for the season, so everyone has a chance to win! Any player may, for their first round, choose to pay only $1 (to course fund) to establish your handicap only, without being eligible for payouts that week, or pay the $2 to play scratch (no handicap) and still be eligible for payouts.
There will also be a point series for this league with points awarded based on actual (non-handicapped scores). These are mostly for bragging rights, but there may be a surprise for the points leader(s) at the end of the season.....
Regulated ares in effect for the league:
Hole 14: OB right side of fairway (roped area), HAZARD as marked
Hole 18: OB on/over access road (right side).
Payouts based on number of players per week; winner take all at up to 20 players. 2nd place pays up to $10 at 30 players; 3rd place pays up to $5 at 35 players. Additional pays TBD over 35 players.
Any players who wish to donate a CTP prize are welcomed to choose their hole and offer the prize, but please no extra entry fees or cash-buy-ins.
Ace pot(s) are capped at $100. Additional pot(s) start once cap is reached.
Any ace pots not won by the end of the season (last Sunday in November) will be donated to JUMC course funds for future events and/or course upkeep costs.*
Each week, payouts will be based upon total number of players as follows:
≤20 players: 1st place only, up to $20 at 20 players
>20: 1st place $20, plus 2nd place up to $10 at 30 players
>30: Adds 3rd place up to $5
>35: Adds 4th place up to $3 then 5th place up to $2
