This League will be an ace run league. The ace pool will be $5 MANDATORY per week. All other wagers will be optional and discussed prior to teeing off . USUALLY $5 random dubs. Points will be awarded as follows. 1 point for showing up, 5 points for dots, 15 points for an ace. The ace pool will pay 50%. If two people hit an ace on the same week they will split the 50%. Our ace pool has paid out $1150 this year. We still have four weeks left prior to the playoff on nov. 1st for the balance of the acepool.

Ace pool busted again!
The ace pool gets hit again. It is down to $178 dollars which is still more than most leagues. Not bad considering we have already paid out $919 in aces this year.

New start time
Next week will be our last 7 o'clock start time. Starting august 16 we will be starting at 6:30 for the rest of the season. so be prepared for some glow golf in late september into october.

New League Rule
Anyone that is caught vandalizing the course in any way including but not limited to writing your name on a post or basket for hitting an ace will be permanently banned from the league! I have been in contact with a couple of city council members. They are very proud of this course and are looking for ways to improve on this course. They are also talking about adding another course in the city. If this course ends up getting trashed like some other courses i'm sure they will change their mind.

***REMINDER***
The $5 ace pool is supposed to be mandatory.This week i decided to let someone play who did not pay for the ace pool, Because this person is not on the scene and was not aware of the rule. It cost me a chance at being cali since i drew the highest chip. If this happens again the decision will always go to the person with the highest chip because that is the person who will be affected the most.

Week #5
Finally! Two aces, nice job Kevin and Ed. We also had two dots by Derrick and Les. Joe and Kevin edged out Derrick and myself by three strokes two win the doubles round with an impressive -21.

WEEK #4 7 people
No dots or aces. I took home the huge $7 ctp. We played doubles this week and Kevin, Alex and Joe had a good battle with Alex and Kevin edging out Joe by a stroke.

We had a bit of a late start. I will do my best to fix that. Kurt had the only dot on a very windy day. Kevin won the ctp. and the ace pool grows to $110 already. See you next week!

WEEK #2 6 PEOPLE
NO ACES, A FEW DOTS, ACE POOL GROWS TO $70. NICE SHOOTING DEREK TWO DOTS AND THE CTP. KURT AND JOE WIN THE DOUBLES CASH WITH -11.....WTF!......I WOULD LIKE TO THANK KURT "MATYCULOUS" MATY FOR FILLING IN FOR ME. iM SURE EVERYTHING RAN NICE AND SMOOTH LIKE THEY ALWAYS DO AT THE METRO DETROIT DISC GOLF LEAGUE.

Week #1 - 8 peeps
Not a bad first week. Nice shooting Kurt and Kevin. Bayer was on target with two dots and the ctp. There is now $40 in the ace pool. Next week i would like to put a little more money on the line for doubles play so save up your cash! I would also like to do more ctp's.
