Season II in the books
Thanks to the 34 unique individuals who came out and played a round or two with us this season. Some of you half beats gave us the wonderful gift of added cash to the finals pot. Which eventually grew to a total of $227.00 . D Ski took home first this season for a nice pay out of $62.00. The rest of the top four were Greg Kurtz $57,00 Jordan Johns @ $56.00 and myself in fourth @ $52.00.
We'll keep playing as long as the weather cooperates but no season or league rounds until Next Year.
Keep it going but take a break.

Championship Week II 10/19/23
Will it be an early Dappy Hirthbay for your fearless leader I think it will be even though that Bronco fan looks to quite possibly have the championship locked up with that 12 point lead.
Our 4 and 5 place point leaders are out so there may be time yet for Mark to perhaps slip into 5th place overall.
We'll decide come Thursday how to approach the rest of the year for playing - Do a short season or just play casually without the point championship.

Is it a sign ... Season Points News
In prep for the season end I started doing some Final Pots Groundwork. The total number of points awarded after 13 weeks - is 666 . We take 40% of the season points awarded and pay out to that number on a per point basis. Right now a point is worth just outside of two thin dimes. Who's gonna make it rain at the final week - oh which just happens to be my Birthday Eve. Might be time for a post round PAR-TEE!!!!

Labor ( of Love ) Day Weekend
The course is well what it is, but what it has been getting is better . Hope to see everyone tomorrow. Lots more work done on 15 W path and got rid of what I could on the broken pine on 16.

Being like todays - the course is going to be drying out nicely come Thursday . Week 7 out of 15 Weeks this go round. Drop the Lowest two if you make all of them - Less if you don't.
All the regulars appear to have handicaps now. It's all gonna be a matter of how well we play to it or above it, or heaven forbid below it .

Yesterday this league reached it's true potential when Mel took down all of the other Beatnik's with her first win . In fact not only Mel but Joe took second ( there was a minor scoring input error that I discovered after the payouts). I'll get it right yet...
