Defiance Reservoir Dogs Disc Golf Club
Dog Tag Challenge
The Reservoir Dogs would like to introduce you to a new type of bag tag challenge.
Dog Tag Challenge Rules:
1. Tags will be assigned on a first come first served basis. You will be given the lowest numbered tag at the time of purchase. Rules for distribution will change after the first year has been played.
2. All tags must be carried to the challenge.
3. A higher numbered tag can challenge a lower numbered tag. All challenges must be accepted unless there is only two weeks left in the season, or if there is already an outstanding challenge involving the challenged player. The lower numbered player must select which of the three acceptable games that will be played, as well as two reasonable locations and times that they will be available for the challenge. If the lower tag holder can’t play within two weeks, then the tag is forfeited and must be given to the challenger. If the challenger can’t make either of the two locations and times, then the challenge is void, and that player can’t challenge the lower tag holder again for two weeks.
4. In the event of a tie, the lowest tag goes to the player who had the lowest tag entering the challenge. A sudden death playoff is allowed if all parties agree to it.
5. If a tag is defended, then the challenger cannot re-challenge for a week. If both parties have no other open challenges, then they can agree to play again for their tags within the week waiting period. This way others are given the opportunity to challenge for the tag.
6. The winner of the challenge will be responsible for entering the results into the Dog Tag Challenge’s www.discgolfscene.com page.
7. Players are required to have a www.discgolfscene.com account in order to participate in the Dog Tag Challenge.
8. If a tag is lost, it will be dropped from the list and a new tag can be purchased at full price if there are any still available.
9. This is supposed to be a fun challenge. So if another game or a variation of the three games submitted here is wanted to be played as a challenge, it is not only allowed but is welcomed, as long as all parties agree.
10. At the end of the regular season the top four tag holders (#1-#4) will put up their tags for a one round playoff. The game for the final round will be chosen by the #1 tag holder. The final round will be held in Bryan on 11/8/2015 at high noon (the date, time, and location of the final round can be modified if all parties agree). If one of the top four players can’t make the final round they will be force to forfeit their tag and take the #4. If two players can’t make it, then they get #3 and #4 tags in the order in which they stood prior to the final round.
11. All rules are subject to change if the club decides it to be necessary.
12. And last but not least. If a player doesn’t respond to challenges, doesn’t answer attempts to be contacted (without good reason), intentionally dodges challenges, becomes hostile, or whines and complains about petty things, not only will they be ejected from the Dog Tag Challenge without a refund. They will also be barred from participating in any future event held by the Reservoir Dogs.

b. On every tee box each player must roll a die (dice) to see what disc they must tee off with.
c. If you roll a 1 or 2 you must use your driver, a 3 or 4 you must use your mid-range, and a 5 or 6 you must use your putter.

e. The tags are awarded according to the lowest final scores.
3. Five Disc Cut-Throat
a. Each player chooses five discs that they will play the round with.
b. If one player scores better than the rest of the card on a single hole, they are then allowed to kill a disc of their choice of each of the other players. A killed disc cannot be used for play until it has been revived.
c. If a player scores lower than the rest of the card and already has a disc killed, they can then choose to revive one of their discs, or to kill a disc of each of the other players.
d. If at least two players tie with the lowest score, then the hole is a wash. No discs are killed or revived.
e. A player can have no more than three discs killed at any given moment. If they revive one of their three killed discs then it’s open to be killed again. A player shall have at least two discs alive at all times.
f. The tags are awarded according to the lowest final scores.
