2 weeks left of the Winter Season!

It's been a few weeks so we'll be back at North Shorts for this week. If the weather cooperates we'll be playing a longer layout next week. Ace pool starts at $290.

Next Sunday will be the last round for the Winter Season and we will take a week break for Easter before starting Summer League.

$5 to play, $5 for the ace pool, $3 for the 50/50+disc CTP. Last call is 1030!

Chilly start but a nice finish for tomorrow!

We'll be playing North Longs since it's been a while for that layout. Ace pool starts at $110. 1030 is last call, $5 to play, $5 for the ace pool, and $3 for the CTP 50/50+disc.

There are only 3 weeks left (including tomorrow) in the Winter Season. If you're an amateur in the top 15 currently and you know you will NOT be going to States, please let me know so I can make a note of that. We have 4 berths to give out for the Winter season.

Where'd that hour go?!

Snow is expected during our round but shouldn't amount to much. We've been taking it easy over on North the last two weeks so today will be South Shorts.

Leagues are on today!

There's a tourney going on but they are using the South Course today so we will be using North Shorts for today's layout. After talking to some folks the teepads are good but the fairways may be a little slick.

Winter Layout Shorts

First off, huge thanks to everyone that was out on the courses the last 2 days clearing the pads! Today is supposed to get above freezing during our round so any snow that may have blown on the pads shouldn't be there long. There is a layer of ice beneath the snow, but the fairways should be navigable. We'll be playing the Winter Layout Shorts today, 1-18 North, 1-3,18 South.

I will have the MDGO discs with me to fulfill existing orders. We have a very limited amount of extras left ... more

South Shorts

We will be playing South Shorts today due to the bad conditions on North. We're also due some weather after 10am, 2-4" of snow, with rates up to 1"/hr if we get hit by a snow band. For any tee pad that seems unsafe, please tee off from either side or behind.

Winter Layout!

Huge thanks to Josh Grunlund and crew for helping clear North Shorts (I'll be out to check on them and salt) and Mike Rivamonte for getting OG 9 on South cleared yesterday. The park has been slacking on salt but Matt Holden has offered us some salt to help. There should be some Raptors available at the store as well (assuming he hasn't sold out yet). We'll be playing Winter Layout (1-18N, 1-3,18S) Shorts today!

Periods of snow with a chance of aces!

We'll be playing North Shorts today and expecting off and on snow, on top of the inch we've already gotten.

Last week we had two players not able to find a group (making a 6-some) and left before the round started. Everyone please make sure that no one is left behind, try sticking around instead of heading right out to a hole to help prevent this from happening.

Last week Mr Utberg smashed an ace but put back in so we're starting off with $50 this week. $5 to play, $5 for the ace pool, $3 for the CTP 50/50+disc.

Soggy and breezy

Soggy and breezy are the words for round today, well, along with North Longs! Ladies can tee from shorts if they'd like. Pad conditions should be wet but no ice since we're above freezing.

We were able to piggy back on an order and secure some Captain's Raptors for sale next month when they're released. There will be a limited amount available, 1 per person, $30.

Winter is here!

We'll be out there in a little bit to get the pads shoveled and salted on North Shorts. It should be fresh snow for us to find our disc trails, but please send out spotters on the blind shots to keep groups moving!

Merry Christmas!

Tomorrow's layout is North Shorts and we will do a disc exchange afterwards for those who want to participate. Please bring a new, wrapped (or bagged, etc) disc at check in. Based on scores you'll be able to draw from the pile of presents.

Leagues Tomorrow!

I got word that the tournament will only be using the North (Blue) course so we are free to play on the South (Green).

Next week we are scheduled to take it off for a tournament, however, its field has been reduced and we might be able to sneak onto the other course they're not playing. We'll update the schedule early this week if we can play.
