The Alztimers Club wants to welcome back all returning and new players for another fun and exciting year of disc golf for players over the age of 50. 2020 is showing signs of being another fun and exciting year. Please spread the word about us so that we can continue to grow. Remember, without participation we cannot exist. Congratulations once again to Ron Simpson for once again being our 2019 season champion. Who will win the trophy this year? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ IMPORTANT DATES!
Saturday April 4 at 9;00 am at The Pines in St. Charles will be our season opener. Once again we will be playing for the best tag numbers to start the season out. There will be a limited number of physical tags to give out and will be on a first come basis. All others will be random draw and issued here online. Of course tire toss, prizes every hole, lunch will be included, etc etc. And all at no cost to its members as always.
July 24 to 26 is the given date for the Gods Country Tournament up north. This date doesn't work for several guys that want to come. So if we can come up with a date to get at least 6 of us on board, I am certainly open to suggestions. Date must be on a weekend that is every 2 weeks prior or after that weekend as I have to work every other weekend.
Oct. 17 at 8,30 am we be our season finale. The top 4 tags will play for our season championship and trophy in a 9 hole playoff. Then a brief meeting, followed by 2 rounds of 19 holes of best shot doubles for our doubles championship and trophies. Of course the infamous worst shot, alternate tee, hole 17 will be included. Games, prizes every hole, included lunch etc. and all at no cost,
We have some members who have private courses and pop up Alztimers tournaments are always a possibility so keep checking your news and messages.
ALZTIMERS RULES!
ALL casual rounds, singles leagues, and tournaments were Alztimers are playing are MANDATORY Alztimers tag matches and must be recorded here online by one of the players. This includes Alztimers playing in different divisions as long as all are playing from the same teepad to the same basket on the same day. This gives everyone a 2fer.
If you are directly challenged by someone you must make every effort to schedule a match with them in a timely matter.
All matches and tag number changes will take place here online so no tag exchanges need to take place. The limited tags will be without numbers.
Please use this site often to promote matches, ie, announce rounds so that others may join in. Announce your own casual round so that others may join. If you're having disc golf travel day, announce it here so that others may join in. This is the best part of Alztimers. The more you use it , the more you get out of it.
I hope to see everyone out on the course often this year, have FUN! And as always, KEEP EM IN THE FAIRWAY!

I'll second the sentiment. A good cause and it is ALWAYS fun letting an old man hyzer skip two dozen times on the frozen lake.
For anyone that is playing and has not seen the post, Frozen Flyerz is being moved out to Mott Park. Holly Rec. will not let us have more than 25 people at the tournament next Saturday. Paul, Jones and I are heading over to Mott and looking at ways we can possibly set up some temp holes to make it a unique setup for the tournament. Hope to see everyone there and spread the word about the move.
