Goon baskets pulled
I was informed today that the baskets st the goon were pulled. This is what I wanted to avoid, but guess we just missed it. We will now be having the Final at PC. Please let me know if you guys would like to start it a little later then normal due to having to drive out there. Open to suggestions. Apr 18, 2017 by Matt Hernandez

About this league

Wednesday Night Dubs: $7 for current ADGA members and $10 for non-members. $40 for first time ADGA membership, or $30 to renew membership for the 2017 season! Accepting membership signups and renewals now!

Dubs will start at 6:15 pm until otherwise noted. Money must be turned each each round by 6:15 pm. Players meeting will begin at 6:30pm sharp. If you show up late after 6:15pm, you will pay the non-member fee of $10 for that round. If you know you will show up after 6:15pm, text me and let me know you are going to be late. (Matt - 907-538-7210) Have another player who is already present pay in for you, or let me know that you are going to use a prepay (if you have prepays left).

Here are some rules/guidelines for this years Dubs:

- Most PDGA rules are in play.

-The point system will be in play again this year to reward those who come out often to support the Club..

- Mark your disc, flip your disc or just leave it. Once player A has thrown player B must throw with the same lie. The first infraction will be a warning, the 2nd will be a stroke penalty.

- Player A throws first from the Odd Tees. Player B throws first from the Even Tees. Players then play from one another's disc. (This rule only applies to those who can't decide who's turn it is to throw).

- 1 minute to choose lie then 30 seconds per player to throw.

- If you lose a disc, the same 3 minutes to find your disc is in play. Cards behind you waiting to finish can call the 3 minute rule on you, so please keep a fast pace.

- If a player picks up their lie then it's decided they would indeed like to play from that lie, it's too late, team must play from the lie that has not been picked up.

- If you begin a dubs round and need to leave because of an emergency your partner can still play. However, it will be a solo round (no mulligans will be allowed in this situation).

- NO ALCOHOL!

- Ties breakers will be decided in a 3 basket playoff using the pro tees. If the tie is not settled after 3 baskets a throw off will take place from the post at the edge of the parking lot to the practice basket.

- Should there be a Cali, the person who draws the Cali (JOKER) has two options: 1) pay only the buy-in amount and have 1 extra throw per hole and receive half the payout for the place you finished or 2) buy-in twice and get two drives, two upshots, and two putts for a full payout.

- $20 bills. Members paying with a $20 dollar bill will receive $6 as their change. The other $7 will fund a future WND's league. $20 will buy you in to 3 WND events. To those of you who prepay: first off, thanks for doing so. You make my job easier by doing it.

- The Ace Fund will be paid out monthly. If an ace is hit, that player will win the entire month worth of Ace money. If it's hit by 2 or more it will be split evenly. If an Ace is not hit during the month most of the pot will go to the club, and the rest will go towards a Final 16 payout at the end of the year.

- This league is on a point system, 10 pts to first, 9 pts to second, and so on....each round. This rewards the players that come out more often. The Final 16 will be the 16 highest accumulations of points, and will play one last dubs round for the final payout!

- Bountys are in place for the season. The Bountys are as followed:
- Best Overall Score
- Best Co-Ed Score
- Best Cali Score (SIngle/Double Buy-In enforced)
Prize for winning a bounty will be 2 prepays for the next season (summer league).
In the case for the Cali Bounty - if the score is set and the player had bought in twice, they will receive 2 prepays. If the score is set by player who only bought in once, they will receive 1 prepay.

- We will have 3 or 4 double point nights this year, as well as a couple Bring Your Own Partner nights. They will be announced the week before.

If you have any questions, concerns, or need to get a hold of me, please text or call Matt - (907) 538-7210. Thanks guys and we'll see you out at the goon on Wednesday nights!!! Disc On My Friends!
