24 Cha!ns is a group of highly dedicated disc golfers who fear no weather, play year round at courses throughout lower Michigan & beyond!!

LEAGUE DETAILS

Summer League rounds are on Sundays. We will meet at 9:30am & we flip for teams a little after 10:00am. This league is always FREE to play. We do have $2 ace pool and $3 CTP's every week, they are always optional. Courses are decided by vote or at the council members' discretion.

We play a $5 Freddy round on the first Sunday of each month. This is also optional as well. Opting out will mean you'll be partnered with someone else who opted out or you'll be asshole cali. This is just like regular cali except if you take your second shot, the first one is lost to the high seas.

We do award berths for the Michigan Amateur State Finals to the individual that has the most league points at the end of the season that WANTS TO GO. That is in all caps because more times than not, the winner declines. We will then go down the list until we find a recipient. If you are interested at a chance for this berth, come on out! For our winter league, it is awarded at the end of the season, for summer we will conclude the point series the first week of August so the individual can register for the event in time. We continue the league with out a point series after that.

PIRATE CODE OF THE HIGH SEAS
There are only a few rule...I know, I know...since when do pirates have rules! Without rules it is chaos and though we are pirates this is supposed to be fun for all!

Shenanigans is not only allowed but encouraged! That as it may be, you cannot touch a player...with anything while in the motion of throwing and you cannot touch a disc in flight...with anything...period.

If you get hit by someone's throw and are directly in their path to the basket that person gets a "re-throw" and you get a warning. If you get hit again by anyone's throw in the same manner during that same round they get a re-throw & you get a +1 to your team score. This is setup to make sure everyone is behind the action as much as possible.

If you hit an object really close to the tee pad, you may here people start counting down from 10! This is your signal to run to your disc, get back to the pad and rethrow before the count is done! It is a fun little thing we started last season and it is pretty hilarious to watch people scramble to get their disc. Each player get ONE of these a round (if needed of course)!

Through the years a lot has changed with our club & subsequent league rounds. Shenanigans is a big part of what we do! In years past, it was a lot more harsh than the way it is now. Maybe that is just part of getting old! lol Never the less, we still razz each other all the time every round! If you are a serious golfer that cannot handle someone shifting their bag or someone throwing trash away through you throw, a dozen+ people yelling at you may be quite triggering! This league is all about FUN and if you're a fierce competitor look to get the W and get a payday from our ace pool, this probably isn't the league for you. We have everything from beginners to pros play for a good time and we intend to keep it that way!
