Week 11 McCourtie Park GRU Random Doubles

We had 30 people out to McCourtie Park this Sunday for 18 holes of random doubles. We had a few rain drops threaten us but any real rain held off and the weather ended up being great.

Freeland and JGrow caught fire shooting the hot score of the day with a -13 for the win and $75. Glover and Joey Rumsey were on their heels with a -10 to take second place and $30. We had 30 people out to McCourtie Park this Sunday for 18 holes of random doubles. We had a few rain drops threaten us but any real rain held off and the weather ended up being great.

Ben Smith and Red Beard tied BoBo and KGrow for third place, both shooting a -8. Ben and Red Beard won the throw off taking home $20 for third. BoBo and KGrow got $15 for fourth place. Sheldon Bowen and Casey Bunker shot a -6 and won the throw of for last cash to win $10.

Casey Bunker took the $15 cash CTP on hole 7. JGrow took the cash CTP on hole 4 as and he also took the merch CTP on hole 8.

Week 10 Ella Sharp Park GRU Random Doubles

We had 26 people out to Ella Sharp Park this Sunday for 18 holes of random doubles. Most of the long rough on the course has been brush hogged down. The course is a little muddy still but the weather this Sunday was wonderful. 80+ degrees and not too much wind.

Rob Tuthill and Jared Glover shot the hot score of -9 and tied Randy Bentley and Zac Hall who also shot -9. Rob and Glover won the throw off taking $70 for first place. Randy and Zac took home $30 for second. There was a three team tie for third at -8. Ben Smith and James Raupp won the throw off for third place and took home $20. Gavin Schroeder and BoBo Peterson got second in the throw off to take $10 for fourth place last cash.

Casey Bunker took the merch CTP on hole 14. Glover took the $13 cash CTP on hole 7. Andrew Stevens took the $13 cash CTP on hole 1.

We had 21 people come out to McCourtie Park for 18 holes of random draw doubles. It was a little cooler out.

Brian Jenks and Freeland shot the hot round of -10 on the day and tied Jared Stoll who was Cali and also shot -10. Brian and Freeland won the throw off to take $75 first place money. Jared got $25 for second place. James Raupp and Joey Rumsey shot a -9 which was good for third place and $10 last cash.

Week 8 Ella Sharp Park GRU random Doubles

We had 28 people come out to Ella Sharp Park this Sunday for 18 holes of random doubles. The weather was fantastic, hot and basically no wind.

Otis and James shot the hot round of -11 with the help, once again, of an ace by Otis on hole 14, once again with his trusty Pig. He is going to run out of space on that disc for people to sign it! Otis and James shot the hot round of -11 with the help, once again, of an ace by Otis on hole 14, once again with his trusty Pig. He is going to run out of space on that disc for people to sign it! James took the $14 cash CTP on hole 9. Joel took the $14 cash CTP on hole 10, and Curtis took the $10 merch CTP on hole 12.

We had 30 people come to Ella Sharp Park this Sunday for 18 holes of doubles and hunting for aces. It was a great day for disc golf.

Otis and Lash shot the hot round of the day with a -12 with the help of an ace on hole 14 by Otis with his Pig taking home $569 for his ace and $70 for first place. Week 5 McCourtie Park GRU Sunday Doubles

We had 20 people come out for 18 holes of random draw doubles at McCourtie Park this Sunday. It was sunny, warm, and windy as hell.

There were three teams tied at the top with a hot score of -9. JGrow and Red Beard pulled off the win in the throw off on hole one winning $70 first place money. Otis and Big Country got second in the throw off and took home $20. Joey P and Joel Coppernoll got third place in the throw off and took $10 last cash.

We had 27 people come out to Ella Sharp Park this Sunday for 18 holes of random draw doubles. It was a little chilly and a little windy but a nice Easter day overall.

The Season begins but it still feels like winter!

We had 20 players come out this Sunday for the kick off of the Grand River Union Summer Doubles.

Lash and JGrow took the win with their -8 winning $50. Joey P. and Randy took second with their -7 for $30. Freeland and Glover shot a -6 and won the throw off for third place winning $20. BoBo and Redbeard took $10 last cash.

Lash got the $11 cash ctp on hole 13 and the merch ctp on hole 5. Glover got the $11 cash ctp on hole 14.
