Week #17 Hollows Hardcore Winter League.

Here we go with more snow . Week #17 is in the books. Special thank you to Andrew Hall for going ahead to shovel off the tee pads. Thank You Andrew . The season is winding down now so play your best. Awards will be coming soon and it's your last few chances to close in on the competition.

It looks like Wade Pepin took it down shooting 46 this week. Kris Wiley was right there also shooting a 47. Fred Lusky and Cody White both shot a 49. Melissa Duer took it down this week for the ladies shooting a 65.Liz K wasn't to far behind shooting a 67.
The end of the season will be here in a couple of weeks . We will have an announcement at league this week about awards . Summer league is open to register for on disc golf scene. League for the Hollows and Birch is listed in tournaments if you want to sign up .

There is lots of stuff happening in April so check out disc golf scene to see whats going on. We are having a doubles glow round at Buck Meadow on April 15th. This will be a wicked cool time for all. Cash payouts on this one.The NEADGC is coming as well . This one you don't won't to miss. Great Player packs by Thought Space,Field Games ,Ring of Fire , and a huge Raffle table. We have added over $7500.00 to amateur payout vouchers so expect big payouts as well .

Week #16 Hollows Hardcore Winter League.

Well it looks a little more like winter now. Snow is on the ground. We are playing short to short for the rest of the season . I can't believe there are only 4 weeks left. The Summer league is posted under tournaments if anyone wants to sign up.

It won't be long and spring will be here. I can't believe we have our first flexes coming at the end of March and then April Fools at the Hollows. April promises to be a very busy month . Check out all the stuff out on discgolfscene. We have a Disc Dying Event coming up that should be a lot of fun. Seating is limited so sign up if your interested.

We had 3 CTPs this week also . Keating Tufts donated a nice disc that was even autographed, Breakin Chains donated their weekly disc donation, and of course there was the weekly $$ CTP. No Ace was hit.

week #13 Hollows Hardcore Winter League

We made it through the arctic freeze I guess. It was nice seeing 20 degrees today. There were about 31 players today. The weather was sunny and cold. Good day for disc golf!

If I am reading this right it looks like Dana Leclair had quite the day. Dana not only had the tying hot round but he also ACED hole #3 today. Big win Dana -- Congratulations. Billy D was tied with Dana but didn't get an ace..

I brought one in today for a CTP and it looks like Andy R won it. Mike Byrne won the cash CTP on hole 13 also. Not a bad day -- An Ace was hit, Nice McBeth disc for an Extra CTP from Breakin Chains, and a nice cash CTP.

There are lots of tournaments showing up on dgscene and we hope to have your support in the upcoming season. Birch Park is filling up and the NEADGC is coming in May. The NEADGC will have great player packs as well as huge payouts! Sign up

Week #11 Hollows Hardcore Winter League

Hello Everyone. There are 10 weeks left for winter league and we have switched to long tee pads for 5 weeks . We have snow everywhere now and it looks like a winter wonderland out there. Be careful , the course is slippery.

All that being said,There were great scores for the first week of longs. Billy D took it down shooting 51 with Cody White and MikeByrne not far behind. Cody also won the cash CTP this week. No Ace was hit so it will roll to next week and I'm not sure who won the Dis ... more

As you can see Spring is not to far away and we are opening up some of our tournaments for the Spring Season. The NEADGC is open for registration and it should be another great tournament. This year Thought Space will be title sponsor and we have great player packs coming for you. We also are doing a special tournament in
Amherst in April that you don't want to miss. Will will be singing the Buck Meadow Golf complex in Amherst as well as Birch Park.. Buck Meadow is looking real good and we are very excited to be able to offer you the experience of playing disc golf there. Sign up . X-Mas post

Merry Christmas everyone from Norma and I . It looks like we will have no league on X-Mas Day. I hope you all have a great day and spend lots of time with family.
This last week the baskets finally got moved to short position for the winter on the north course. I want to thank all the volunteers that helped move them. We also want to thank everyone for all the help to get the new benches cut ,stained, assembled, and installed on the North course this fall. There was a lot of intense ... more

Merry Christmas everyone from Norma and I . It looks like we will have no league on X-Mas Day. I hope you all have a great day and spend lots of time with family.
This last week the baskets finally got moved to short position for the winter on the north course. I want to thank all the volunteers that helped move them. We also want to thank everyone for all the help to get the new benches cut ,stained, assembled, and installed on the North course this fall. There was a lot of intense work to make that all happen. Don't forget we also installed all new signage on the advanced tee pads as well.
We have started replacing the benches on the South Course and will continue work in the spring. A big shout out to the city for all their help with these projects and all the volunteers that put in their time to make this happen.. We could not have done all this without their help. Thank You Manchester for your wonderful gift of the Hollows Disc Golf Courses.
There will be league New Years Day ,so rest up and we will see you all then . Merry Christmas!

Week #4 Hollows Hardcore Winter League

42 People came out to play today. Keating, Blaine and Steve Fraher really came to play shooting 52s!!! $38 Cash CTP on Hole 4 was won by Keating. A Thought Space stamped Disc (donated by Breakin Chains) was Won by Wade on hole 14. Roger Allard also donated a Pie Pan Discs "Bagger" that Keating also got to take home.

Week #3 is over and it was cold and super windy today. This is our first really cold day. We made it! Next week Bryant Chamberlin will be handling league for Norma and I. We are off to Texas to have Thanksgiving with our son . Bryant and Dicky will also be in the store on Black Friday to handle the Flex Starts. i hope you will be able to gert out for a round.

Week #2 Hollows Hardcore Winter League

Week # 2 was a rainy morning but we had a great turnout regardless. We even added 3 or 4 new players to the group. We had 38 players for the day.

Breakin Chains donated another special disc for the CTP on hole #14 this week. I brought in a nice VP( Firm) by Vibram Disc . Steve Laughlin was the lucky winner of that disc. We also had our weekly cash CTP . The CTP was on hole #2 and Dicky Smart took it down winning $36.00. Oh!! I almost forgot ,Dicky also ACED hole #2 winning the Ace P ... more

Week #1 Hollows Hardcore Winter League

Well here we go again. Week #1 is behind us and it was a great start for the season. The weather was great and we had a big turn out for the first day. 39 players showed up to get the winter season of to a good start.

This year will work pretty much like last year. We are not sure yet wether there will be advanced and intermediate divisions for men . We will see how many more people sign up. As usual you will get 1 point for every player you beat and 1 point for attendance. There will ... more

Well here we go again. Week #1 is behind us and it was a great start for the season. The weather was great and we had a big turn out for the first day. 39 players showed up to get the winter season of to a good start.

As usual you will get 1 point for every player you beat and 1 point for attendance. There will be a 10 point bonus for any ace. The best 18 rounds will be counted for your final points at the end of the season. We will offer an Ace pot and a CTP pot each week. Total cost for both is $3.00. Ace Pots will roll to the following week if none is hit. Ace Pots will be capped at $500. That's about it on how it works. Whoops ,there are no OB's on the course for winter play.

It is looking like Wade Pepin took it down yesterday shooting a 53. Tim Auger was just behind shooting a 55. Melissa Duer took it down on the women's side shooting a 68. Tim Auger won the cash CTP on hole #1 and Taylor Sylvain won the CTP donated by Breakin Chains . We are off to a great start. See you all next Sunday.

This will be a 20 week points series league, You will receive a point for every player you beat each week and 1 point for attendance. Come early if you are signing up day of.
