Week #13 High Low Dubs Party!!!

Come one, come all to our League Members Only Party this upcoming week! Be there at 5:30PM sharp to hear who your Doubles Partner will be. We will be partnering the lowest handicap with the highest handicap based on who shows up.

We are handing out $1100 to the top 10 teams that finish! It's anyone's game. First place will receive $100 each and it will be $10 less for each place after that.

There will be a CTP/LP on every hole! So you don't want to miss out!

Together we have raised $277 for the Holland Rescue Mission! If Everyone shows up this week we would be close to breaking $300! You are welcome to donate any extra funds and let us know it's for the mission.

2nd Divisional Results

The competition was intense! It was exciting to watch the scores pour in with 40 people in attendance (42 Paid in). We could not have asked for better weather too!

I do apologize for not being able to close out the tournament earlier. The lead card wasn't able to finish as quickly because there was a drunk driver that crashed into a tree on hole 12 as the lead card was passing by. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the lead card did need to wait for the police to show up making them good ... more

Week #12 - 2nd Divisional

This week is our 2nd Divisional! Please check in when you arrive. We will have a brief players meeting then head out.

Next week EVERYONE is invited back to join in our League Party! We will be having a High Low Doubles Tournament and paying out to the top 10 places giving away over $1100 in CASH to the winners! Sweet Spot will be doing some CTP's for us as well!

$20 = 2nd place
$10 = 3rd place

We have CTP's for each division and a Ladies only CTP.

Hole 2 = Div 2 - CTP
Hole 3 = Div 3 - CTP
Hole 4 = Ladies Only CTP

Then there will be random CTP/LP throughout the rest of the course. Some are for shirts and I will write the sizes on the cards. Please pay attention to the labels!

Jasper Swaney, one of the pastors from the church, is bringing his wife, Sarah to play as a doubles match against the league. Anyone who beats their score will be splitting $50. If no one beats them then there will be a throw off to see who gets it. Mainly, they would like to meet YOU! So please give a warm greeting and introduce yourselves to them.
FYI Jasper (and others) was also instrumental in putting the course in on the church property.

Handicaps are only used to determine which division you will be in, they will not be in play for the divisional. If there is a "No" next to your name that means you didn't get enough rounds in to qualify for this divisional. I'm sorry you will not be able to play this week, but feel free to come out and cheer everyone else on. However, you are welcome back for the following week of High Low Doubles/ League Party.

We wrapped up our last league day with 46 people in attendance, but 50 people total paid in for the day!

We are back up to $97 in the Ace Pool, but that will go up over $100 after this week!
As a group we have raised $256 for the Holland Rescue Mission through our 50/50 CTP's. Also meaning we have given out the same amount to the lucky winners.

League Week #8

With 41 people eager to play this week and some ingenuity from our Members and Leadership we were able to play! Glenn offered up some yard signs partnered with Chad's envelopes and thus the CTP/LP markers were made. Next week we will be sure to have our regular markers!

In order to decide the 50/50 hole between the 2 CTP's we flipped a 1979 quarter with the old school eagle on the back so that there would be no favorites.

Handicaps for week #8

I didn't post handicaps last week since it was Divisionals, but that doesn't mean your handicaps didn't change! If you have a (/) and an additional number that means your handicap changed from week 6 to week 7. I posted both so that you could have reference.

Apply the latest Handicaps to the next weeks scores to get your adjusted Scores for the week. If your name has an (*) next to it, then the number of (*) you have refers to the number of weeks you have played and the handica ... more

Handicap:
Not everyone has established their handicap yet. You need to play 3 weeks before we can establish your handicap. Then on the 4th week your handicap will be applied. This will keep things interesting as others start establishing their handicaps!

Here is how the Handicaps work:
Take your 3-5 best scores and add them together. (ex. 60+61+62=183)
Divide by the number of weeks (ex. 183/3=61)
Minus 56 Par (61-56=5)
New Score +/- Handicap (ex. 63-5=58)

Pre-Season Week 1
