Week 6 results

Hey gang! First off I'd like to thank everyone for joining the league! I hope everyone had a great time (even in the occasional 20 mph winds LOL). Looking forward to seeing everyone May 30th for the first night of Summer league.

Hey gang! First off I'd like to thank everyone for joining the league! I hope everyone had a great time (even in the occasional 20 mph winds LOL). Looking forward to seeing everyone May 30th for the first night of Summer league.
Here are the results from BRATS (what a course, huh?) It was brought to my attention a possible incorrect score was posted on one of the cards (Matt, Ben, Joe Jake W and Mark). The totals were changed on the card, with higher scores as the result, but when I went through and added the original scores were correct so posted those. If there was a specific reason not written on the card that I may of overlooked, whoever made the changes please let me know and I will update them here on the league page. As it stands...
Mark had the hot round of 56 (-5), Doug and Eddie right behind with a 58 (-3). Dan won the Nate Sexton GLO Firebird on the CTP (white #3), though literally by inches to Eddie... had to measure 3 times to be sure! Great drives guys!
Glad everyone enjoyed playing the BRATS course (really made you miss the NorthRidge course in areas, didn't it? LOL) Terry was an amazing host, and I will be getting with him soon to see if we can come out again towards the end of Summer league.
It has been a pleasure running this league, you guys have been great, so THANK YOU!

Tonight

Last night of Spring league tonight, BRATS in Ann Arbor! 5171 Waters Rd. Ann Arbor 48103, Red White and Blue mailbox across the street from the driveway.Tee off 6 pm, but feel free to come early. 2 week break then Summer League begins on 5/30 @ 6 pm. See you tonight!

Week 6

Ok guys, hope everyone is ready, last week of Spring league is Tiesday at BRATS in Ann Arbor at 6pm! Address is listed in last week's post, but if anyone gets lost please call/text me (734-620-7119). We'll be playing Red/White course, Terry will have maps of the course there but feel free to show up early and play. I will determine the CTP hole after I walk the course, but the disc will be..... *drum roll* a Limited Edition 2017 Nate Sexton Glo Firebird! (yes I found one!) Depending on ... more

Week 5 results

You'll see a star spangled mailbox on the left of the road, driveway is across the street on the right. IF you can, please try and carpool with someone as parking is a bit limited. Tee off will be at 6 pm, but Terry says feel free to show up early and practice if you'd like. 2 week break for the league after that, starting the Summer League on May 30th. This will be a PDGA sanctioned league, make sure if you have a membership that you are up to date to have your rounds rated! See you all next week, 6 pm!

Week 5

Game on tonight at 5:30 for week 5! Good news: no rain in the forecast. Not so good news: course is going to be muddy with 20+ mph winds. Tonight is our last week at NorthRidge, next week 6pm at BRATS in Ann Arbor then 2 week break with summer league starting on May 30. See you all tonight!

Week 4

Sorry so late in posting... week 4 tonight at 5:30. Per popular consensus we will determine at tee time whether we will play from long or original tees tonight depending on the wind. Ace pool at $74+, CTP hole and disc (have to pick one up today) to be determined. See you all at 5:30!

Week 3 results

Thanks again to everyone to coming out, we had 15 people show this week. Welcome to 3 new people, Shawn, Paul S. and Paul B, hope you guys had a great time!
Finally had some warm, dry weather, and though it started off just slightly breezy the wind seemed to once again pick up towards the end of the round. Oh well, I guess that's the one thing that makes this course just a bit challenging... Here are the results from week 3:

Doug shot the hot round of 55 (-1), with Jake W. right behind with a 56 (E). Dan won the CTP on hole 2 with a beautiful drive ending just a couple feet from the pin. Ace pool is now up to $74, so try not to waste the money shot during your practice round LOL. Week 4 next week at 5:30... scheduled to play the long/alternate tees, but by general consensus we will wait to see what the wind conditions are prior to tee time, and play original tees if necessary. Also, I'd like some input from everyone on a CTP disc for next week, so in the comments please let me know what disc you think you would like a chance to add to your bag. See everyone next Tuesday!

Week 3

Ready for week 3 everyone? Looking like it's going to be a eek of some good scores... no rain and light wind, playing from original tees. Ace pool at $44+, CTP prize is the newest Discraft release, Machete. Marketed as a superb headwind disc I figured this would be a great one to have in your bag at the NRC course! Great news everyone, Terry Calhoun has generously offered to let us play BRATS, his private course in Ann Arbor) for our last week of Spring league! For those of you who have never played there, it is a fun but very challenging course, so make sure to bring your A game! We will tee off at 6 instead of 5:30 to give everyone a chance to make it out, but feel free to show up early if you can for some practice holes to learn a bit of the course (not sure if we're going to play the Red, White or ... more

Week 2 scores posted

Wow, what a week! 14 people showed up for week 2, great turnout! Ace pool is now up to $44 (try not to waste yours in the practice round next time Jake LOL). Once again it was extremely windy with 20+mph gusts, on top of playing from the alternate long tees didn't quite make conditions conducive for shooting our best scores last night LOL. Rob had the HOT round of 56 (course par), followed closely by Doug with a 59. Rob also won the CTP on hole 10, and on a side note he tombstoned his drive ... more

Once again it was extremely windy with 20+mph gusts, on top of playing from the alternate long tees didn't quite make conditions conducive for shooting our best scores last night LOL. Rob had the HOT round of 56 (course par), followed closely by Doug with a 59. Rob also won the CTP on hole 10, and on a side note he tombstoned his drive on 17 about a foot from the basket.. INCREDIBLE! Next week week 3 playing from the original tees, hoping to see little to no wind and some very low scores! Waiting to hear back from Terry Calhoun on playing BRATS our final week, i'll keep you posted. See everyone next Tuesday at 5:30!

Week 2

Ok gang, week 2 of the Spring league Tuesday at 5:30 coming up quick. We will be playing alternate long tees this week! Hopefully the wind will be less than last week, a couple of the holes could be a bit challenging even without it. CTP prize this week (hole to be determined) will be a limited edition watermelon stamp Axiom proton Theory. Ace pool is $16 + entries this week. See you all Tuesday, bring a friend!
