First of all thanks to everyone who came out to putting league this year. With this winter the garage was pretty cold, so special thanks to Cal and Ben for bringing a little extra wood. Also special thanks to Glen for getting the middle ring welded back onto one of the baskets.

Glen won poker, and we listened to bands from islands that only sometimes speak English: Chthonic and Puya... and eventually hockey.
Last putting league of the year will be tomorrow, then it's time to go outside and get our feet wet. You may have noticed there are points now. A number of people thought that last week was the final putting league week, but that is not so. We'll keep going until the 9th.
Cal won poker along with first place. We listened to Pain of Salvation, Circus Maximus and Threshold.
Middle eastern night, we listened to Orphaned Land, Melechesh and Myrath. Someone won poker, but I didn't write it down.
Posting scores on Friday, what?! Lakanen won poker again. Swedish night as we listened to In Flames, At the Gates, and Carbonized.
Listened to Ayreon, Arkona and Apocalyptica; the A's had it. Lakanen won poker.
Grant won poker. We listened to Liquid Tension Experiment then the Red Wings.
German industrial night, we listened to Die Krupps, KMFDM, and Eisbrecher. Powers won poker again.
A Matt again won both first place and poker, Lakanen this time. Tried to get everyone ready for Valentine's Day with Nightwish and Epica.
Powers won poker along with taking first place by himself. We got piratey and listened to Alestorm and Swashbuckle.
In a prelude to Sunday, Scott won poker. We tried to think warm, Southern Hemisphere thoughts with music from Angra and Soulfly.
We listened to Korpiklaani and Turisas last week, and Grant won poker. West driveway will be closed for parking this week.
Josh won poker after we listened to Moonspell and Cradle of Filth.
Grant won poker with the last card, music from Type O Negative and Samael.
Glen won poker. In addition to winning the first place pot, Powers also won Jimmy Johns gift certificates donated by Todd Lewis. Due to complaints at the previous session that the music was not loud enough we played Emperor and Septic Flesh.
That means no putting on Christmas, you heathens.
December 18 poker winner was Grant Kellogg. Music was from Dream Theater and Sonata Arctica.
Poker winner was Josh Johnston, music from Kamelot and Finntroll.
Ron Put won poker' music from Therion and Symphony X, plus a Red Wings game.
Cal Benke won poker, and we listened to Vintersorg then the Red Wings game.
Poker was won by Scott Lammers. Music was from Fear Factory and Megadeth, who happened to play Grand Rapids yesterday.
Matt Lakanen won poker with four sixes. Music from Amon Amarth and Amorphis, Finnish band results in Finnish-named poker winner.
Scott won week 3 poker with a flush; Todd Lewis won week 2 with a full house, and Zac won week 1 with *ahem* two pair.
This season's Putting League will start October 23 at 6:30. Going to be fun.
Music not loud enough? It was lame enough though.
