This league is for 2022 Grove City Disc Golf Club bag tag holders to keep track of matches.
Bag tags can be purchased with a $20 donation to the club. Email [email redacted] if you are interested.
2022 Bag Tag League Rules:
- If a lower number beats a higher number, they must swap tags (ex. if #5 beats #1, they swap tags). Tag rounds can also be played with more than two tag holders.
- Tags are in play when two or more tag holders play in the same group during any casual round, league round, or tournament. It does not have to be announced that tags are in play.
- If playing a casual tag challenge round, the player with the lower number gets preference in determining which course and format is played for the match.(ex. If #5 challenges #1, #5 decides that the round will be played at Hunter Farm from the short tees, or Memorial Park using the 18 hole alternate layout, etc.)
- Tags are in play when playing with another tag holder at any course. However, casual round tag challenges do not have to be accepted at courses outside of Grove City.
- Casual round tag challenges must be 18+ holes, unless otherwise agreed upon
- Top 5 tag holders must play 1 round a month (except during winter months) with another tag holder. If a top 5 tag holder goes inactive or stops accepting challenges, they will be asked to give up their tag for a lower number.
- Everyone else is encouraged to challenge other tag holders often. Open invitations on the Facebook group are recommended!
- IMPORTANT - PLEASE RECORD ALL TAG SWAPS by clicking "Submit bag tag updates" on the Disc Golf Scene league page so we can keep an up to date leaderboard!
- But MOST importantly, have fun!
There will be a tag holders only event toward the end of 2022. Thank you for supporting the Grove City Disc Golf Club!
