Some comments on PDGA live scoring:
- Using this app makes my life WAY easier. So please use it. The main thing is I do not like editing scores afterward. Its much better for the integrity of the scoring if I don't have to fiddle with the scores after they've been entered/verified.
- If the app doesn't work close out your browser (iPhone and Android) and reopen the browser.
- If someone has already played one week in the league please DO NOT enter them as a new player. This causes a headache for me to fix because then we get two different entries for one person that I have to figure out.
- Just because someone does not have a PDGA number does not mean they cannot be entered into live scoring.
- I will stick around before the round starts to make sure you're good to go with Live Scoring. This is one of the reasons why I start at hole one every week.
- If you join the PDGA during league LET ME KNOW. Otherwise what can happen is there will be two entries on your name - one with your new PDGA number and one without. I can fix this but I may not catch this before league ends if no one tells me.
- One of the rules is the person with their name first on the card does the live scoring. I am not going to require this. If you don't feel comfortable doing the live scoring on your card and someone else does we can reshuffle the card before the round starts no problem.
