This year we’re going to offer a fun 6-week family league with weekly 9-hole disc golf course challenge.

Who can participate? There must be a minimum of one parent and one junior in one of the following PDGA junior divisions for each family: Junior (<=18) aged boys and girls are divided into six groups based on a player’s year of birth: Junior ≤18, Junior ≤15, Junior ≤12, Junior ≤10, Junior ≤08, Junior ≤06. Family scores will be averaged and prizes will be awarded at the end of the season ice cream social.

Prizes? Yeah, lots of ‘em for different categories like best score, most participation, coolest DG action time pictures, fewest lost discs, red lantern award, and whatever we come up with as the season progresses.

We’re requesting a $5/participant donation for the event so we can offer MORE prizes at the end of the season. To be eligible for the CTP prize we must have received family donation before CTP week begins! Payments can be made via PayPal to [email redacted], select “friends and family” payment method and be sure to reference “2021 Family DG League fees” in the reference line. Membership in the Fairbanks Disc Golf Association isn’t required to participate, but is highly encouraged!
Scores must be emailed to [email redacted] by 10pm Sunday evening each week to be counted. You can send a screenshot of Udisc or picture of your paper scorecard (please make sure it’s legible!).

By the end of the first week please email your family league participants’ names and ages so we can keep track of scores. We’ll be posting family average scores on Disc Golf Scene, so please email what you’d like your family team name to be! We won’t post ages on Disc Golf Scene to keep privacy concerns to a minimum.

Can’t make every week? That’s ok, as long as you get 5 weeks of scores submitted you’ll be eligible for end of season prizes.

You can complete the weekly challenge at your convenience but you have to play the courses together as a family! Be sure to tag Fairbanks DGA Facebook and Instagram of you having fun on your rounds, email the best of the best to be considered for end of season prizes.
