The Greater Rochester Disc Golf Club Match Play League is back for 2021!
We will be playing on Thursday nights for 8 weeks, starting on 5/13. Playoffs will be 7/7-7/8 ...THE BRACKET IS BACK!
5/13 - Parma
5/20 - Basil
5/27 - Riverton
6/3 - Chili
6/10 - Pfrommer Woods
6/17 - Parma
6/24 - Apple Farm (tentative)
7/1 - Basil
7/7 & 7/8 (Playoffs) - Temp course TBD
The format is traditional match play. We'll be playing 9-hole matches against 2 random draw opponents on a card each week. A scoring system is set-up for any 3 player cards. You and your opponent are welcome to wager extra cash on individual matches if you both desire.
This year there will be two divisions, Pro and Am. There is a 900 PDGA rating cap for the Am division, but the Pro division is open to anyone (875+ is recommended to be competitive).
Cost: Pro: $10 ($4/match + $1/club +$1/finals) + $1 optional ace + $1 optional cash CTP.
Am: $6 ($2/match + $1/club +$1/finals) + $1 optional ace + $1 optional cash CTP.
For any week at the Riv, it’s an additional $2 for the greens fee (normally, the greens fee is $5). If you have a Riv membership, you can waive the Riv fee.
Time: 6pm. Your tee assignment will be determined ahead of time, so meet your cardmates at the tee.
Pre-registration and digital payments are required by 4pm on Thursdays. This'll allow me to set the cards up beforehand so we can tee off earlier. Payouts will be digital as well.
