I have been tracking these storms that are coming all afternoon and watching what has been happening.

With the safety for all of us being the most important thing to me, I am cancelling tonight’s scheduled league round. There will be continued strong storms moving through the area for the next 4-5 hours.

Please spread the word! I will post in a few places.

If you choose to go out and play anyway, please do so safely and be smart. There is a still a large amount of dead trees out there and every strong storm brings the chances of those trees coming down.

The next round will be July 14th.

The DiscGolfScene cannot make the points work like a tournament series where you can play and earn points in different divisions (well they can but it is not a high priority and won’t be don’t anytime soon).

I was going to have the Top 4 points finishers in each division have a 1 week playoff and then advance to the finals vs the winners of all the other divisions for the overall champion.

So, this is what I am going to do as people that are swapping divisions are going to be impossible to track…

The divisional playoffs for each division will have qualifying on July 28th & August 4th. The Top 4 scores (including all ties) each week will qualify for the Divisional Playoff on August 11th. The winner of each playoff of each division will advance to the finals vs all the other divisional champions:

This is even and fair to everyone as points no longer matter and everyone has 2 chances to qualify for their division.

1st Divisional Qualifier July 28th Top 4
2nd Divisional Qualifier Aug 4th Top 4
Divisional Playoff Aug 11th
League Championship Aug 17th
