We will be presenting the Sportsman of the Year Award as well as the Sportswoman of the Year Award. Prizes to be determined. Get your votes in to Otis at [email redacted]. One vote for Sportsman and one vote for Sportswoman. Vote for the people you think demonstrated the greatest sportsmanship throughout the year. The votes will be counted and winners will be announced at the last day of league on November 15th at McCourtie.

We had 19 players come out to McCourtie Park for 18 holes of doubles this Sunday. It rained but it didn't pour.

There was a three way tie for first at -9 so they all threw off for the three cashing spots. James Raupp was playing cali and he took down the throw off for first place and $42. Jessica Cook and Tucker got second place and $20. Bill Cottrell and Joel Coppernoll took $10 last cash.

Joel Coppernoll also got an ace on hole 7 with an ESP Buzzz and cashed for $162. Nice ace Joel!

Aaron Gabrielse got the merch CTP on hole 13. Joel also got the cash CTP on hole 16. Casey Cook got the cash CTP on hole 9.

Aaron Gabrielse also won the basket raffle for the Discraft Chainstar Light. Congrats Aaron!

Justin Grow and Kelly Laderoot are getting married and throwing a tournament to celebrate. You are ALL invited! There will be a short ceremony at 3pm on 8/8/2020 on one of the stone bridges in the park. The fundraiser tournament will be right after the ceremony.

Bring your own chairs and umbrellas for the ceremony. Wear a mask if you would like, and please observe social distancing. Respect everyone around you.

The fundraiser tournament is $25. It is a doubles tournament. You will get a special disc with a stamp that commemorates the event as a players pack. You can use that one disc as well as a putter of your choice. League players will be paired up with wedding guests and everyone will be playing against the bride and groom, who will be paired up. Please bring an extra putter for the wedding guest you will get paired up with so they can have a putter to play with as well. You are also welcome to bring discs to sell to wedding guests. Proceeds from the tournament will be going to payouts as well as towards the park to fix the entrance to the parking lot. We will be paying at least the top 33% of the field.

There will be no food provided, but there will be beer for those of age. If you drink, please arrange rides as needed.

We had 18 players come out to Ella Sharp this last Sunday for 18 holes of doubles. The weather was great, just really humid.

Clay and Tyler Lash had the hot round of -10 for the win and $54. Casey Freeland and James Raupp shot a -9 for second place and $30. There was a tie for third place at -8 and they threw off. Big Country and Jay Day won the throw off and took third place and $18. Kelly Laderoot and Casey Cook took $10 last cash.

Casey took the cash CTP on hole 16. Joel took the cash CTP on hole 12. Elijah took the merch CTP on hole 15. Lash won the CTP for a disc on hole 13.

We had 20 people come out to McCourtie Park this last Sunday for 18 holes of doubles. As we walked out to our holes, the sky opened up and completely soaked us all. The rain quit after a few holes, but the damage had been done.

There was a tie at the top at -7. Joey P and Joel Coppernoll won the throw off and took $50 for first place. Otis and Baw Beast got second in the throw off and took $20 for second place. Aaron Heath and Tpills got third place with their -5 and took $10 last cash.

Otis took the $10 cash CTP on hole 7 and the $10 cash CTP on hole 9. Zach got the $10 merch CTP on hole 1.

Two teams shot the hot round of -9 and there was a throw off. Joel Coppernoll and Otis won the throw off and took $38 for first place. KC Freeland and James Raupp took second in the throw off and took $20. Casey and Jessica Cook shot a -7 an took $10 for third place.

James took the $10 merch CTP on hole 6. Jeff Lozowsky took the $9 cash CTP on hole 11. Jimmy Faust took the $8 cash CTP on hole 9.

We had 24 people out to McCourtie Park this Sunday for 18 holes of doubles. It was super hot and super humid but the mosquitoes were not bad. The course itself is in great shape.

Big Country and Joel Coppernoll shot the hot round of -11 and decisively won first place and $46. There was a three way tie for second with Goose and Baw Beast, James Raupp and Orien, and Casey Cook and Otis all shooting -9. Baw Beast and Goose won the throw off and took $26 for second place. James and Orion took $14 for third place, and Casey and Otis took $10 last cash.

Bree got the $13 cash CTP on hole 15. Baw Beast got the $13 cash CTP on hole 4. Joel got the $15 merch CTP on hole 8.

We had 36 players come out to Ella Sharp Park this last Sunday for 18 holes of doubles. The weather was great, just a little humid.

Three teams shot the hot round of -8. Hippy John Celestino and J-Grow tied Joey P and James Raupp as well as Tyler Lash and Baw Beast, all at -8. J-Grow threw for the throw off on hole 16 and instantly got booed as his spider hit chains and landed for the ace in the throw off taking the win and $46 for Grow and Hippy John. James Raupp and Joey P took second place and $30. Lash and Baw Beast took third and $24. There were three teams tied at -7 for fourth, fifth and sixth and they all threw off. Tpills and Rockwell won the throw off and took $20 for fourth place. Paul Adamisen and Malachi Peterson took fifth place and $14. Kelly Laderoot and Goose took $10 last cash in the throw off.

Hippy John Celestino hit an ace on hole 9 with a Star Katana on a hyzer through the trees taking home $224! Congrats to Hippy John!

Casey Cook and Joel Coppernoll tied Joey P. and James Raupp at -12 for the hot round. Casey and Joel won the throw off and took home $50 for first place. Joey P. and James took $26 second place money. Malachi Peterson and Ron Howard shot a -10 to take third place and $20. Otis and Jared Glover shot a -9 to take fourth place and $14. Jay Day and Big Country shot a -8 and took $10 last cash.

Jimmy Faust and Hippy John shot -7 to take the win and $50 first place money. Rob Darling and Casey Cook tied Tyler Lash and David Buckley for second place shooting -5. Tyler and David won the throw off and took $26 second place money. Rob and Casey took $14 for third place. James Raupp and Christopher Otis shot -4 and took $10 last cash.

The Beast and Otis won the throw off to take $26 second place money. Danny and Jimmy took third place and $14. Lash and Casey Freeland took $10 last cash with their -8.

Stay at least 6 feet apart from anyone not in your household and refrain from high fives and handshakes or touching each other or each other's equipment. We are running Doubles this Sunday and every Sunday through November 15th. Check the schedule weekly for any changes. Stay safe and we'll see you out there!
