We had 7 players come out on this muggy day to throw at Rolling. Mike won the before round Stalker with the CTP on hole 1. Chilly won the day with a hot round of 46.

Jay won the league but has already won his berth so he took home a Discraft Crystal Force. Ben and Randy won the State berths finishing 2nd and 3rd in the league.

Instead of doing a throw off for the ace pot we decided to play one round in the labyrinth, most putts win. Randy and Joe finished tied with 6 so they threw off from the exit to the practice basket and Randy won the $27. We'll donate $20 to the Sandra Richardson Course Fund this coming week.

That is it for this season. We'll see where things are this fall and see about starting up again in September or waiting a little longer.

In our disc throw off to the practice basket Randy and Nate both took home a MVP Deflector.

UDisc worked great. It lets one person keep score and everyone else can check their scores on their phone with live updates. It was pretty cool. Looking forward to using it these last 2 weeks.

Next Saturday we'll be at Mary Beth Doyle. Meet at 1:45, disc throw off at 1:55, tee off at 2 pm.

We're going to play 1-18 from the shorts. Meet at 1:45 and start throwing around 2.

We had 5 players show up and play the Reds twice. There were quite a few close calls for an ace but not close enough. The weather was great. Jay took home the win. Ben won the Discraft Zone in a throw off to 7 basket from the parking lot before the round.

We're going to keep it at $5 each week with $3 going to the ace pool and $2 going to the disc giveaway. Next week we're moving to Rolling Hills. Hope to see everyone there.

I'm able to now add the bonus points to the weekly scores so the leaderboard is up to date.

Hello everyone,

We will be back to playing on Saturday June 13th at Water Works in Ypsi. There have bee some rule changes and all of them can be reviewed in the About section of Disc Golf Scene.

Next week we will meet at 1:45 and start the round at 2. Cost for next week will be $0 with an optional $5 for ace pool and CTP ($3 will go to Ace pool & $2 to CTP), CTP will either be a throw off after the round or I'll draw a name after the round.

We are playing 6 more weeks and playing singles. We are going to do 3 people per card, one scorekeeper for each card (either UDisc or paper). Continue to social distance and don't pick up other player's discs or bags. Each player will get 2 mulligans per round.

Points have been changed to:
1st = 10
2nd = 8
3rd = 6
4th = 4
5th = 3
6th = 2
7th and beyond = 1

It's possible that the schedule will change based on if courses are open for leagues or not at the time. See you next Saturday.

Here's an update of what changes may be in store for when we're able to meet up for league again.

If the stay at home order ends on May 15 then we can possibly be back on June 6th but I don't think we'll be starting again until June 20th.
More than likely there will be a limit on the amount of people that can gather so we'll change to playing singles from the shorts.
Each player will get 2 mulligans per round (if you don't use them you lose them).
If you are within 10 feet of the basket it'll be considered a gimmie and no need to putt out.
We'll only have 2 or 3 players per card.
Two options on cost option 1 will be $5 and cover $2 ace pool and $3 CTP/league. We won't do any payouts unless aces are hit. Top 2 in points at the end of the season win berths to States.
CTP will either be done after the round one at a time or the lowest score will win CTP or we'll pick the CTP winner from a hat.
Option 2 will be no costs and no ace pools. The top 2 in points at the end of the season will win berths to States.
If we can't meet up then I'll be at the course from around 2 to 4:30 or so playing my round. I'll leave scorecards on my van and you can play a round with 1 or 2 others. Then either take a picture of the score card and text it or message it to me. Or leave it on the windshield of my van.
The courses we play at may change if the current courses don't allow leagues.
Points should stay the same though we may double points if 7 or less show up.
All of this is subject to change, for example if States is canceled then we may cancel league. If we're allowed to meet in groups then maybe we'll do doubles.

TLDR: Going to Singles from the shorts with 2 mulligans. Only 2-3 people per card. May just end up with you have to play a certain course during a certain time and send me a pic of the scorecard.

Depending on what type of restrictions are put in place for outside gatherings through the government and through the courses we play we may have to change the format of the league. If we do, we'll be sure to let everyone know ahead of time. Hope to see you soon.

Joey won the Mint Freetail on Hole 3 and Chilly won $22 on the Hole 13 CTP.

We'll be back on the 28th at Independence Lake.
