Eleven of eighteen eligible players won CTPs. Harris was the big winner with three, with five other players winning a pair.

Paul-G, Sennet, Will-D, and Harris each initially staked their claim to a CTP, which never was taken from them.

The most contested CTPs, with four players staking a claim at some point, were #’s 2&6, both coincidentally won by Leggy. He barely held onto #2, as both DWill and Slacker sent their discs towards the basket, and Leggy could only shout/cry as he observed these threats from tee-3. Alas, he held onto this CTP, by the width of a disc.

#Rockapsco league finale scores posted. Top 5: Matt Dorsey, Brett Wolter, Brian Sennett, Doug Williams, and Jeff Swatso Watson. They each got $cash and a Jomez disc or mini donated by Joseph Booth. We played Patapsco recreation bricks to short baskets today with every hole a CTP worth $11 and some DGA - Disc Golf Association plastic donated by Hawk Corrick.
Hot today was a three-way 41 (Dorsey, Harris, Will Dobrzykowski) only rated 986. Dorsey had the hot front 9 at 19, and Harris the hot back 9 at 20. The easiest hole was 1 with 13 out of 19 birdies, and the hardest was 17, garnering birdies by only Wolter and Harris. Every hole did get a "2", so a 36 was possible today.
Thanks to all the came out and played in our sixth league session, we had 185 rounds recorded during this session. Stay tuned for our 2020 schedule. Dorsey basically challenged all the local MPO field today to try and compete with him in 2020..........

#Rockapsco week #9 updated, playing Rockburn Oxen Ho and Temp hole 1. Matt Dorsey shot his rating and the hot round at 54. The hot front went to Jeff Swatso (25) and the hot back a tie for Dorsey and Brett Wolter (28). CTPs went to Doug Williams (4A), Slacker (T1-back down from 12OX), and a special Champ Thunderbird prize for Brian Sennett (hole 15). Thanks to Bob Johnson for the donation of the Thunderbird and Hawk Corrick for the DGA - Disc Golf Association plastic. Notable birdies: Travis Freund (1A), DWill (5B), and Dorsey (6C).

Our league finale is next week, 12/28/19 at Patapsco playing Rec to short (yellow bricks to Silver baskets). All are welcome to come, but if you attended 2 rounds already, every hole will be a CTP.

#Rockapsco week #8: Man bites course, course bites man. The "hot" Front-9 was a '26', shared by Wolter and Funky, but who really cares? Dorsey, who started with a lame '27' on the Front, decided to crush the Back-9, scoring a '20', managing to par 15-16, and birdying the other seven. The course retaliated, giving his vehicle a flat front-right tire - we'll call it a draw.

The only other factoid of minor interest was Hurline trying to decide between Hawk-provided DGA discs. Looking for something RoadRunner-like, his choices were limited to an Undertow or a Sail. He took a (decent) practice throw with the Undertow, retrieved it, and asked to try the Sail. It flew to the right, continued to the right, and is probaby still flying to the right. He stated he would choose the Sail. I told him it was his selection, whether he found it, or not.

Next week, #9, like Racer-X's car, is at Rockburn.

IMMEDIATE: Due to course conditions and forecast weather for tomorrow, 12/14/2019, the Patapsco round is CANCELLED. 
Tentatively this round is re-scheduled for 1230 Sunday 12/15/2019 (per our sanctioning agreement with the PDGA, and as stated on Discgolfscene.com) at Patapsco.  
We apologize for this late notice, but we want to ensure safety and preserve course conditions as the tee boxes temporarily retain water.  If the course is still unplayable for Sunday, we will again provide notice via email, on facebook, and on discgolfscene.

Brett Wolterr took the hot round (54) and the hot back 9 (27), also carding 3 birdies (1,5,9). Matt Dorsey shot the hot front 9 (25), carding 3 birdies (5,6,9) and the sole 3 on hole 7. Wolter took the CTP on 1 and Randall Lazarus took the CTP and birdie on 18. The hardest hole was 7, playing 1.5 strokes over par, and hole 2 was the easiest at 0.1 stroke under par. An astounding 5 birdies were seen on hole 6. Other notable birdies, Bob Johnson (15) and the two birds on 5 by Dorsey and Wolter. Next week we are back at Rockburn with a third disc-only CTP where we will be giving away a swirly DGA - Disc Golf Association #Rift donated by Hawk Corrick.

Notable birdies: Brett Wolter (4,5,18B), Randall Lazarus (6), Harris (10, 13C, 18B), and Matt Dorsey (17A). Only 4 holes didn't garner a 2 today (1,2,9, and 12). Hawk Corrick donated not only the CTP discs, but also an insignificant amount of life-sustaining blood to the course due to an early sticker mishap. The hot round of 55 on this blustery day went to Wolter and Harris (55 - preliminarily rated 981) with Jeff Swatso Watson coming in at 56. Hole 5 was the hardest (4.1) and hole 16 the easiest (3.3). CTPs went to Swatso (3) and Randall Lazarus (10). Notable birdies: Wolter (2, 18), Lazarus (10), Dobrzykowski (12, 15), and Swatso (13). Best score could have been a 47. Next week, 11/23, we are back at Rockburn. Shout-out to Hawk Corrick and his donation of DGA - Disc Golf Association plastic for the CTP winners.

#Rockapsco week #3 results updated with 21 players. Hot round when to Matt Dorsey (54), who also had the hot back 9 (27). The hot front 9 (27) was a three-way tie between Dorsey, Brian Sennett, and Ryan Legge. Sennett was one stroke behind Dorsey with a 58. Notable stats: 10 holes had birdies (2's) making the possible lowest round a 44, specifically noting Legge (hole 1), Sennett (hole 5), Doug Williams (hole 6), and Brian Potts (hole 9). Dorsey also managed to squeak out the CTPs on 7 and 14 by inches (pics of his DGA - Disc Golf Association plastic next week - Hawk Corrick). Next week we are back at Patapsco playing Long tees to Short baskets (Blue to Grey).

#Rockapsco week #2 in the books with 22 players on a great day at PTAP, playing Red to Green (short to long). Matt Dorsey took the hot round (61) on this par 59 layout shooting an initially rated 975 round. He also had the hot back 9 (28) and Slacker had the hot front 9 (32). Mike Watson took the CTP on 2, and Brian Hurline took the CTP on 15, both taking some cash and some sweet DGA - Disc Golf Association plastic again donated by Hawk Corrick. Brian H also managed an amazing 2 on 15, and Brett Wolter took a very nice 2 on 6. The front 9 played 8.3 strokes harder than par and the back 9 at 4.5 strokes over par. Notable birdies on 6C and 8B by Wolter and Michael Woizesko. Also shout-outs to Mark Falcher and Joseph Booth (3's on 10B) and Mike W and Dorsey (3's on 18C) for getting threes on the hardest holes of today's layout. Next week we are at Patapsco (McKeldin area) for a yet to be determined layout (depends on course conditions). Registration between 0900 and 0920 (park opens at 0900) at the middle parking lot by the playground.

Hole 3: Mando tree marked by pole, must pass to right of tree. Drop within one meter next to mando or re-throw.

Hole 9: Stream is OB.

Hole 12: Oxen ho' (C-pin) (Par 5) (if in play per players meeting)
Temp1: Marked temp tee to 12's A-pin (if in play per players meeting)

Hole 13: OB in stream or beyond. Normal OB rules.

Hole 15: OB in stream or beyond. If OB on drive, drop zone marked with flags left of the basket near the path.
