We had 11 players come out to Jackson College for our final day of Thursday Night Doubles. We had wonderful weather with almost no wind.

Jared Stoll of Westside Discs was cali and shot the hot round of -9, as did the team of Pete Christ and Otis. Pete and Otis won the throw off for first place and $38. Jared took $10 second place money.

Jared won the $10 merch CTP on hole 18. Jay Day won the $11 cash CTP on hole 4 with a straight up park job.

Even though Big Country didn't show up on the last day due to work, his solid play all season was able to keep him in first place for the Thursday Night Doubles league and he got the overall win with 40 points! Congrats, a hearty handshake and high five are due to Bryce "Big Country" Harrell the next time you see him! He also won $40 merch from the club for his win. Casey Cook tried to run him down but was only able to get second place overall with 36 points. Second was still good enough for $20 merch. Nice job Casey!

We had a huge group of 4 disc golfers that came out for 18 holes of windy golf out at Jackson College this Thursday.

Bill Cottrell and Tpills had the hot round of -9 for the win and $16 first place money.

Tucker put one under the basket and got the $4 CTP on hole 11. Tpills got the long putt on hole 3 for the $5 merch CTP.

Pete Crist and Bill Cottrell tore it up with the hot round of -9 taking first place and $24.

Bill also got the $6 cash CTP on hole 5 with a gyro park job.

We had 9 players out this last Thursday for 18 holes of doubles out at McCourtie Park.

Jared Stoll of Westside Discs and Big Country of team 'Merica put the hammer down with the hot round of -11 and took the win and $30. Jared Glover and Casey Freeland used their lefty magic to shoot a -7 for second place and won $10 last cash.

Tpills won the $9 cash CTP on hole 1. Otis won the merch CTP on hole 5.

We are out at McCourtie Park next Thursday at 5:30pm.

For our first Thursday Doubles round this year, we had 10 people come out for 18 holes of doubles at Ella Sharp Park.

Big Country and The Champ, aka team Big Champ, shot the hot round of -7 for the outright win and $30 first place cash. Jennifer Yarbrough and Otis shot a -6 for second place and $10 last cash.

The Champ was putting them close and won the $10 cash CTP on hole 17 and also the merch CTP on hole 1.

We are starting a new doubles league to fill the spot of our Berth Run that concluded last week. We will still be playing at 5:30pm on Thursdays.

We are starting off at Ella Sharp Park this Thursday at 5:50pm and will be rotating between Ella, McCourtie Park and Jackson College for 9 weeks.

GRU ace pool is in effect for this league as well. Hope to see everyone out there.
