Pelham Disc Golf League Final Round (Week 18) Results have been posted! Check the leaderboard on DiscGolfScene for final points standings for 2018 League.
While this was the last "official league round", we hope to see everyone out there for many Tuesdays to come.
We'll be using the Pelham Disc Golf Facebook page to coordinate any special events and start times, so keep a look out!

Thanks to everyone who came out and made Tuesday's finale such a great event. We gave a way a ton of cash, gift certificates, awards, prizes, and ate wayy too much pizza.
Yes, there was still pizza left over, even with everyone chowing down before AND after the round.

Surprisingly, the Ace Pot was not struck once this year. As a result, the $435 will be divided, with half ($217.50) going towards course improvements, and the other half seeding the Ace pot for next year. You must be a 2018 league member to win this portion of the 2019 pot next year.

The Pelham Disc Golf League contributed $517.50 total towards course improvements this year. Thanks to all who bought into league and Ace, Ctp, and Tourney pots to make this happen!

Week 17. Only 1 week left for 2018 League! Both sad and exciting to see how the points will end up with only each players top 14 points weeks being counted towards their total. Sorry that I have been slacking on the news updates, I'll try to get through all the highlights of the 2 weeks I missed. But before week get to that please remember...

Sign-Uo for the Hollows Fall Classic ASAP!!! Breakin Chains needs to get an better ballpark of how many players packs will need to be assembled. If cash is an issue get a hold of Bill and Norma at Breakin Chains to and let them know that you do intend to sign-up still. Take a look at the tournament tab above to see all of Breakin Chains upcoming events.

For week 16 and 17 Billy Crane tops the charts shooting a 45 (week 16) and a 47 (week 17) with Noah Proctor hot on his heels throwing a 47 (week 16) and 49 (week 17). Week 16 Nate Roberts finds himself in 3rd with a 48 while week 17 Jeff Furbush's 52 was good enough for 3rd. For week 15 rainy round Noah Proctor and Billy Crane still find themselves in the top 3 but in a slightly different order.. Noah's 55 takes 1st, Lance Krzeminski finds him self in the mix with a 56 good for 2nd, and Billy Crane and Matt Stolarz's 57 takes 3rd.

Week 15's $19 Ca$h CTP on hole 15 was won by Billy Crane. CTP on hole 16 during week 16 for $24 was won by Nate Roberts. Week 16 also had an Innova Roc 3 Plus donated by Shane Piroso for a second shot CTP on hole 17 that was won by Brandon Carter. Week 17's 2nd shot hole 17 cash CTP was taken home by Dan Hofmann for $26.

The $21 Cash CTP on hole 14 was won by Vijay. The hole 4 CTP, a Big Jerm Shryke (donated by Shane Piroso), goes home will Bill Demarino and Hole 7's CTP, a Westside Discs Special Edition Warhorse (donated by Breakin Chains), was won by Matt Stolarz.

Now to the Beat Your Average Tournament. Not all the cards made it back in before people started taking of to avoid the rain so i will have the payouts for the winners next week (please remind me). Billy Crane's 45 was good enough to beat his average by 7 strokes unfortunately for him he did not buy into the BYA. Charles Crudden, however, did buy in also beating his average by 7 to take the win and $20. Honorable mentions shooting in between 1st place and 2nd include Will Cox (-6), Shane Piroso (-6), Alex Chaves (-4). 2nd place was a tie at 3 under their averages, but ties go to the player coming in with the lower average, so sorry Walter Doolin, John Bilsky started with the lower average and is now the proud owner of 40 shiny quarters ($10).

Quick reminder before I get to the CTPs and Beat Your Average winners, Breakin Chains will be running C-Tier Flex Starts on both Holllows North (in Shorts) and Hollows South this Friday, August 3. Sign up at Breakin Chains anytime between 8 am - 5 pm. They will be sending out cards of at least 3 people so bring some friends and avoid the wait. Mark your calenders for Friday August 17th as well, Breakin Chains will hosting a Flex Start C-Tier at Muldoon!

Ok back to the CTP winners. Andrew Fonseca parked hole 13 for the $25 Ca$h CTP. Noah Proctor is the proud owner of a Pineland Farms stamped Star Firestorm that was donated by Scott Poland.

The list of people that shot better than there average before the player who came in second for the Beat Your Average is too long for me to list (not really but it was 7 of you guys!) Bryant Chamberlin brings home $8 for his 2nd place finish in BYA throwing 4 under his average. John Bilsky threw 8 under his average taking $16. So any of the 7 of you who threw between 4 and 8 under you average could've taken home atleast $8 (more if you would've bought in! Have faith in your game).

With the temperature a bit more tolerable this week we had 37 people come out to league tonight. Before we get to tonight's recap I want to remind everyone that the league sponsor Breakin Chains Disc Golf Supplies is hosting a Trilogy Challenge event at The Hollows-North this Saturday the 14th. The 3 discs from the Trilogy event may not be widely released until 2019 so don't miss your chance to get them now! Breakin Chains also has an upcoming Live Free and Drive Tour PDGA C-tier on The Hollows-South July 21st accompanied by a Flex start the Friday before (July 20th) on both The Hollows-North and -South. Okay now on to the weekly results. Billy Crane came out on top shooting a 46, Noah Proctor close behind with a 49, and a three way tie for 3rd at 51s between Bill Demarino, Lance Krzeminski and Bryant Chamberlin.

We had 4 CTPs out there tonight. The Nate Doss 3x World Champ Tour Series Buzzz donated by Breakin Chains Disc Golf Supply was won by Lance Krzeminski on hole 10. A Nate Sexton Glow Firebird (donated by AJ Jasper) was taken by Nate Roberts park job on hole 3 and Brandon Daugherty's chain out ace run on 7 stayed close enough to earn him a nice Harp (also donated by AJ). The $25 hole 11 Ca$h CTP was won by Bill Demarino.

In the Beat Your Average Tournament Billy Crane's 46 was and impressive 7 strokes better than his 53 average but the winning scores tonight were a tie at 8 under their averages. Bryant Chamberlin shot 51 against his 59 average and Brandon Daugherty came in with a 57 versus his 65 average. Bryant and Brandon take home $18 and $9 respectively.

Week 10, temperature of 110? It was a hot one. 31 players risked the heat and Scott Poland shot a cool 47 with his closest competition, Billy Crane and Ross Quigley, 4 strokes behind at 51s.

Tonight we started the Beat Your Average pot for a $3 buy (must have 3 rounds on record to establish average.) Ross Quigley beat his average by 10 strokes and John Bilsky (throwing right handed again) beat his by 8, but neither of them bought into the pot, so our winners are Keith Engers and Jason Sullivan both shooting -7 of their average. Kieth will take home $16 while Jason takes $8 (tie goes to the lower average as it is "more difficult" to improve).

Tonights $21 Cash CTP on hole 10 was taken by Shane Piroso and Keith Mackenzie wins the Upper Park Draw bag CTP donated by Matt Stolarz (won and redonated by Kieth Engers last week).

Jordan Wagner brings home $21 on tonight's Hole 9 CTP and Kieth Engers wins the Hole 6 CTP for the Upper Park draw string bag (Donated by Matt Stolarz) but has decided to re-donate for a CTP next week.

Tonight, as a prelude to starting the "Beat Your Average" pot starting next week, Vijay donated a Latitude 64 Anchor to who ever beat there average by the most strokes. A lot of people thought they were coming in with great scores under their averages including Bryant Chamberlin at -6, Charles Crudden and Dylan Durand at -7s, but Jonathan Cahill crushed his average by 9 strokes to bring home the Anchor.

Next week we will be starting the "Beat Your Average" pot by in for $3, 1st Place takes 2/3s and 2nd place 1/3. You must have 3 rounds played to establish your average before you are eligible to play. (Hopefully I will have a print out with everyone's average so you will all get a chance to see it before hand.)

Welcome to the 2018 Pelham League!! We had great weather and a good turn out for our first week with 46 players (8 or so new players to the league). Noah Proctor is coming out guns blazing shooting the hot round and tying the course record with a 44. Six strokes behind that comes AJ Jasper with a 50 followed by Vijay Kakkad and Zach Leffler with 51s.

Week 1's Hole 1 Cash CTP of $29 was taken away by Lance Krzeminski on the first throw of the season. Hole 7's pearl white GBO stamped Lucid EMac Truth (donated by Bryant Chamberlin) goes home with Kyle Strasshofer. Our final CTP on Hole 14 was 4 pack of 21+ beverages donated and won by AJ Jasper. (AJ re-donated his winnings to some of his card mates and league admins, it tasted good =)

Starting Tuesday, May 1st!

Pelham Disc Golf Club (PDGC) presents the 2018 Tuesday League with Season Points Series @ Muldoon Park in Pelham, NH, sponsored by Breakin' Chains Disc Golf.

Check-in starts at 5pm (4:30pm on the first league round, 5/1). Cutoff for check-in is 5:30pm sharp.
Group and hole assignments and shotgun start immediately following check-in.

Points -- Get a point for every player you beat each week. At the end of the season we'll total the points from your BEST 14 rounds. There are 18 total rounds scheduled (5/1 - 8/28). The more rounds you play, the more chances you have to improve your best 14!

At the end of the season, prizes and payouts are awarded for the top point earners overall, top point earners based on your season average, and special categories such as most improved.

Upon signup each player will receive a 2018 Pelham Disc Golf Club full color metal membership tag AND a custom Pelham Disc Golf mini can-topper, both designed by our very own creative master, Matt Stolarz. Use the mini and hang the tag from your bag to show your support for the 2018 club!
