Max's Snake Oil Series - A six week PDGA sanctioned series Starts Sunday September 30 with a flex start beginning at 1 to2 pm. All six weeks will be on Sunday.
The Snake Oil Series is a 6 week PDGA sanctioned series with a flex start beginning at 1pm and the last card will go out at 2. The buy-in each week is $5 Advanced/$5 Intermediate/$5 Recreation/$5 Novice. Out of your buy-in is $1 to PDGA/Club - $1 to final series payout & Ace Pot is optional at $1. Ams pays in Rattler Bucks to top 50% each week (Club Credit for all discs, shirts, tags, minis, Food and beverages) A CTP each week will have a $1 a throw/max 3 throws per week, and will award 1st, 2nd & 3rd place. CTP proceeds will fund the end of series Raffle prizes of discs, bags, shirts, hats and various swag. Play once or all 6 weeks. A fun 18 hole Ace Run will conclude the series on Nov 11 (a seventh week, not rated) with all players getting TWO throws each from 100 feet to try and get the most Aces and Awards will follow. You do not need to be a member of PDGA to play and there is no added fee. Players receive one point for every player they beat or tie in their division each week and 3 points each week for 1st in their division. Series points will be posted each week at the series. The Snake Oil Series will run for 6 weeks, each player’s top 5 rounds will be used to determine the series winners for each division and final series payouts will be awarded in cash. Series payouts will be awarded to the top 3 in each division. Maxine gives out additional awards at the end of the series, not necessarily to the top players, but to those who show up and make her job easier, or have good attendance, or are just a blast to be around! We are keeping the buy-in low and are excited to offer our members this opportunity to work on their PDGA ratings right here at home! Every round played will be rated through PDGA except final Ace Run. You can practice the layout during club doubles as we will use the Snake Oil Series layout for Dubs. We will start with a shorter layout and work to longer ones over the 6 weeks.
