Bag Tags 2018
1- Overview
a. The purpose of the Bag Tags is to encourage participation in all club events as well as spur friendly competition during casual rounds. HAVE FUN!
b. Tags may be purchased by Columbia Disc Golf Club (CDGC) Members only.
c. All challenges must be between CDGC Tags only.
d. Tags may be used for ANY challenge as agreed upon by individuals involved.
e. Players must have Tags present when playing. If Tag is not present then you cannot play for a Tag.
f. Lost tags will not be reproduced. Players can purchase a new Tag and will receive the lowest # available.
g. DiscGolfScene.com/leagues/Columbia_Disc_Golf_Tags_2018 is the Hub for everything concerning Tags. ALL matches must be reported to the page. This insures that the leader board is up to date and everyone knows who has what tag.
2- Challenges
a. INDIVIDUAL - The higher Bag Tag number (player) challenges the lower Bag Tag number. Challenges MUST be verbally agreed upon at the beginning of EACH round including the FORMAT. If the challenger wins the round, the tags are exchanged.
b. GROUP - The Tags are thrown into a pool and distributed at the end of the round by lowest score.
c. TOURNAMENTS ¬- If two or more Tags are present at any organized individual event then it is mandatory to participate in the Tag challenge. The tags are thrown into a pool and distributed at the end of the Tournament, NOT after each round. Tags will be distributed by lowest score.
-If different course layouts are being played it is up to the members to decide to split tags into pools or provide handicaps.
d. TIES - In the event of a tie the Tag goes to the individual with the lower Tag going into the challenge.
e. INCOMPLETE ROUND - If play is stopped before a round is complete then Tags are not exchanged. Weather, Emergencies, or Mutual agreement.
3- REPORTING CHALLENGES
a.Tournament, Event Directors or Board Members will update the Tag listings after major Columbia Disc Golf Club Events.
b. Players may post tag rounds to Discgolfscene and will be awarded 10 points towards the Columbia Point Series for each round in which they participated.
c. It is the responsibility of the WINNING individual to input Tag match to DGS.
d. To report Tournament Tag results please post in the Columbia Disc Golf Club facebook page, Private Message a member of the Board of Directors, or email [email redacted] the names of players involved and what pools if different.
e. To report a match go to the DGS page – Select submit bag tag updates – Complete all information then submit for verification.
