We had 9 players yesterday but only 7 were able to fight through the rain and mosquitoes. Ben/Brian took home the win with a 77 and Jay/Joe took home 2nd with a 80 after a throw off between them and BJ/Randy. Joey took home the cash CTP, Jay took home the Merch CTP, and Brian hit the Longest Putt.

Our champion is Brian Gentz! With a Final Score of 52. He'll be going to States in September!

We have one more Berth to give away to the winner of the summer season that begins next Saturday. The schedule should be up today or tomorrow at the latest.

We are going to Water Works to decide our champion after 27 holes. We're doing a round from each set of tees. We'll start on Mids, then play Longs, and finish on Shorts. We haven't played this configuration before so no course record.

CTP for the bonus point and the Merch is Hole 7. CTP for cash is Hole 5. Longest Putt is Hole 6. You have all 3 rounds to try and win them. The Merch prize this week is a No Bounds swirly wizard.

Birdie Bonus holes will be Mid 4, Long 5, Short 2, and Short 9.

The champion for the Spring season will win a berth to States held the first weekend in September.

Ace pool will be over $400 so if a current member hits an ace they'll win at least $320 and newer members will win at least $200. Also any aces hit on CTP holes will take the CTP prize. Also aces count for bonus points and range from 5 to 20 points based on distance.

This is also our week for double points in the DGLA: Michigan Cooperative Point Series. *Note it's not double points for our standings but it is for this league that we're part of. Check it out on disc golf scene.

In one of the last rounds ever at Pine Creek we had an excellent round and a big shakeup in the top 5 of points this week. 5 strokes separated 1st-5th. We were able to play 2 extra holes from the MVP circuit for a total of 17.

BJ/Ben Calhoun took home the win today with a hot round of 45, splitting $34. Brian/Ben Pierce split $14 in 2nd with a round of 46. Brian took home the Merch CTP of a Champion Teebird, Matt N took home the Cash CTP of $18, and BJ took home the Longest Putt. Lots of birdie bonuses and birds in a row bonuses. Heard Nate hit a 120 foot putt!

Next week at water works it's any of the top 5's game with 1st - 5th only separated by 10 points. We'll be playing Mids, Longs, Shorts at Water Works, meet at 1:30 and throw at 2 pm. Then we'll crown our Spring Champion and see who will be getting the first No Bounds invite to States.

This Saturday is the MVP Circuit at Pine Creek so we'll be playing later, we'll meet at 3:30 and throw at 4. The Circuit should be done by then and should give those who played it time to run home and get their bags.

We will be playing holes 1-15, if the course for the Circuit is still up then we can decide if we want to play the Circuit course instead.
CTP for points and a new disc (donated by Randy) will be Hole 8.
CTP for cash will be Hole 13.
Longest Putt will be Hole 10.
Birdie Bonus Holes will be 3, 7, 9, & 14.

The Water will be OB as well as the OB around the basket of 10.

No course record to break since this is the first time we've played it.

A great turnout this week with 12 players showing up to play the Reds and Whites at BRATS. No rain again and after a recalculation of the score cards, each team finished below par. We had another tie for 1st at the end of the round between new comers Jason/Jay and BJ/Randy so they had a Playoff. Playoff holes were W1, R1, R9 and they were still tied after that so they went to W1 again where Jason/Jay hit a birdie to split $34 and BJ/Randy split $14.

Shawn in his first week back hit the Cash CTP for $18. Joey in his first week hit the CTP for the Wizard. We had a donation from the Bandemer Glow Bandits and Mike K took home that CTP. Jay hit the longest putt on the hanging basket while it was swinging.

No aces were hit but there were a lot of close calls so the Ace pool is now at $372.

Next week we are meeting at 3:30 at Pine Creek and throwing at 4.

We are playing at BRATS this week. I ask that you bring an extra $2 for donation to the course so cost for all in this week is $12. We'll be playing the Red & White courses for 18 holes. CTP for Merch and points will be Red hole 5. CTP for Cash will be Red hole 3. Longest Putt will be Red hole 8 with the hanging basket swinging. Birdie Bonus holes will be R9, W3, W6, & W7. Out of bounds in effect with the road and over the fence OB (comes into effect on R1, R8, & W9.

Merch CTP this week will be a 4S Sauce Stamped Wizard.

We'll plan on playing the White course first and finish on the Red. The course record is 48 set in Summer 17.

Ace pool will be over $350 this week.

7 of us braved the weather and were rewarded with no rain until after we left the course. It was an excellent round ending in our first ever playoff. Ben hit a 70 foot birdie on hole 18 to force a playoff with Randy/Brian. The playoff only lasted one hole as Randy/Brian parked hole 1 to get the birdie and Ben/Mike finished it with a par.

Mike took home both CTPs parking both holes and Ben took home longest putt with a 30 footer uphill on 16. Quite a few bonus points with the top two teams both getting 3 or more birds in a row twice for the round. More 30 foot putts hit today too.

BJ/Joe had a bogey free round and finished under par as well. Looking forward to next week at Brats!

With this beautiful weather we had our biggest turnout of the year at the Gulch. 3 teams beat the course record of 54 but the bonus points go to Mike and Matt for setting the league record with the hot round of 47. They split $30. BJ & Randy came in 2nd at 50 and split $10.

Cash CTP was $12 and won by Mike. Joe N took home the Merch CTP and took home a brand new Trace. No one was able to get the birdie bonus this week and Joe S took the longest Putt after some strategy was put into play.

We are off next week to play in the Daywalker's Doubles at Independence Lake. Right now we have 2 No Bounds teams in the tourney. If anyone else wants to enter, find a teammate and we'll see you there. League will be back in action May 19th at Independence Lake.

Randy Fortune took home the cash CTP ($12). Brian took home the Merch CTP and will take home a new disc next week. Randy hit the longest Putt, putting up the hill of 14.

We'll play holes 1-18. CTP for cash will be hole 4. CTP for Merch and the bonus point will be hole 15. Longest Putt will be hole 14 (Yes the hill). Birdie Bonus holes will be 11, 13, 17, & 18.

Ace pool is at $302. Current members will win at least $243. New members will win at least $151.

We had excellent weather for Week 2 and for once no wind at North Ridge. Had 3 teams and another close round with only 5 strokes separating the winners and last place.

Brian & John had the hot round of 48 to tie our best record at North Ridge (one more stroke to beat the record and get the bonus points). They split $18. Had a couple of close chances at an Ace on the CTP hole and BJ took the points on that. Longest Putt was again no longer than 10 feet and was won this week by Ben and Joe.

No Aces so the pot is now at $302.

Next week we're playing later, meeting at 4 pm at Lakeshore to get our Week 3 round in.

CTP for points will be hole 15 and you have to land it on the green for it to count. Longest Putt will be hole 14. Birdie Bonus holes will be 3, 7, 8, & 11.

Those who played week 1 cost will be $5 ($3 back to payout) and new players cost will be $10 ($5 to club, $3 back to payout).

Had a good turnout of 8 today and played on 1 card. It was a close match with 1st to last being separated by only 3 strokes. Randy Fortune and myself took 1st (splitting $24) with a no bogey round of 50. Brian Holcomb and John Bacon came in next at 51. Tied for 3rd with 53 was Brian D. Gentz and Matt Bury, along with Joe N & new guy Curt.

CTP for points went to Curt taking home the Skulboy Panic. Randy took home the QJLS & a Buzzz, and Matt took home the other Buzzz.

Longest Putt went to BJ and John with a six foot putt.

Ace pool was not hit and is now at $287.

Our Special Deputies went to Curt, Joe, and after a grueling playoff to BJ and Matt.

Next week we'll be at Water Works for some Ace runs.

We will be at Rolling Hills to begin our Spring season. Remember we’re starting earlier and meeting at 1:30 and throwing at 2 pm. If you need a ride or want to carpool then comment here and see if we can get that set up. I’m not sure if there will be someone at the gate but if there is I believe it’s $7 to park for the day or $30 for the year.

Your first week is $10. $5 goes to the club, the remaining $5 will be split like this for the rest of the season: $3 goes to the day’s payout, $1 goes to CTP prizes, $1 goes to the league.

Ace pool is at $265. If you’re a current member who has paid the 10% threshold then you will win at least $212 (80%) if you hit an Ace. If you’re a new member or you haven’t reached the 10% threshold then you will win at least $133 (50%). Current members pay $2, New members pay $5 (once they reach that 10% threshold then it’s $2 from then on).

So costs this week are $10 (if no ace pool), $12 (if current member ace pool), $15 (if new member ace pool).

CTP for the Bonus Point and these Axiom Panics are Hole 4 (One for the men & one for the women). The remaining CTPs can be won by anyone, CTP for the Millennium JLS is Hole 8. CTP for one of the Downriver Cryztal Buzzzes is Hole 13. CTP for the remaining Downriver Cryztal Buzzzes is Hole 18.

Longest Putt for the bonus point will be Hole 11. Birdie Bonus holes will be Holes 1, 6, 15, & 17.

After the round we’ll have a bonus giveaway for anyone who wants to stay and play. There is no extra cost and is included with the day’s cost. Everyone will grab 2 putters and we’ll go play the new Labyrinth course. You’ll get 2 throws at each hole, each disc that goes in counts as 1 point (so you can get 2 points per hole). The 4 (FOUR) players with the highest score will each win an autographed Deputy. 2 of them are signed by 4 time World Champion Paige Pierce and 2 of them are signed by Paige Pierce, Tina Stanaitis, Eric Oakley, and Zach Melton.

I will also have our new league discs, shirts, and hoodies for sale. Craves and Teslas are $20, Envy’s are $18, shirts are $15, hoodies are $25. After the round I’m putting the discs up for sale online so if you want one before they go public bring your money on Saturday. Only 100 were made and they were designed by the awesome Skulboy.

And if any teams beat our league record of 42 (-12) that'll be an additional bonus points of 3.
