About this league

League coordinator - Matt Hernandez 907-538-7210
Contact me for any issues or to check in each week for dubs if you are running late or want to use a prepay and be ahead of the pack.

Wednesday Night Dubs: $7 for members of the ADGA and $10 for non-members. Dubs will start at 6:15 pm until otherwise noted. Here are some rules/guidelines for this years Dubs:

- I MUST have your money by the posted time (6:15 pm). Failure to comply will result in Members paying the Non-Member rate. Options: have another person buy you in (other than myself), pay in advance, or quite simply, be on time.

-LIGHTS AND HAND WARMERS FOR SALE - There will be lights and hand warmers for sale every week. Just ask me when you are checking in with me and paying for the evening, and I can set you up with what you need.

Bring your own tape for setting up lights on your discs, I will not provide this.

Lights (Red or Multi Color) are $4 for a pack of 2 Lights.
Hand Warmers are $1 for a pack of 2 warmers.

- Most PDGA rules are in play.

-The point system will be in play again this year to reward those who come out often to support the Club..

- Mark your disc, flip your disc or just leave it. Once player A has thrown player B must throw with the same lie. The first infraction will be a warning, the 2nd will be a stroke penalty.

- Player A throws first from the Odd Tees. Player B throws first from the Even Tees. Players then play from one another's disc. (This rule only applies to those who can't decide who's turn it is to throw).

- 1 minute to choose lie then 30 seconds per player to throw.

- If you lose a disc, the same 3 minutes to find your disc is in play.

- If a player picks up their lie then it's decided they would indeed like to play from that lie, it's too late.

- If you begin a dubs round and need to leave because of an emergency your partner can still play. However, it will be a solo round (no mulligans will be allowed in this situation).

- TIES- for first will be decided in a playoff, starting back at Hole 1 and continuing until one team wins.

- All other ties that are in the $$$ will do a CTP from the corner post at the edge of the parking lot to the practice basket. Individual that is closest to the pin, their team wins the $$$. If losing team in this throw off is still in the $$$, they receive the next lowest payout.

- CALI - Should there be a Cali, the person who draws the Cali has two options: 1) pay only the buy-in amount and have 1 extra throw per hole or 2) buy-in twice and get two drives, two upshots, and two putts.

- $20 BILLS - Members paying with a $20 dollar bill will receive $6 as their change. The other $7 will fund a future WND's league. $20 will buy you in to 3 WND events. To those of you who prepay: first off, thanks for doing so. You make my job easier by doing it. Also, if you know you'll be at todays Dubs please text me or send me a message here and let me know youll be playing.

FINAL 16 - Since the league is on a individual point system, at the end of the season we will have a Final 16. This means, the top 16 spots on the leaderboard for highest accrual of points throughout the season, will be eligible to participate in one Final doubles round. I will check in with each player that makes the cut to ensure they plan on making it to that final round. If someone can not play the final, the player with the next highest amount of accrued points will then be eligible, and so on and so forth, until there is a complete 16 player roster for the final.

- ACE FUND will be paid out .......TBD.....will do a pole from you guys to find out what the majority would like. Options are 1) MONTHLY - Where at the end of the month, if no one has hit an Ace, Half the payout will go to the club (to fund disc orders for future events and tournaments) and half to the Final 16 at the end of the season. 2) ONGOING - Meaning the Ace pot will keep building until someone hits an Ace. Whatever the Ace pot is at the end of the season, it will be carried over to the Final 16, and if no Ace is hit during the Final 16, that $ will be added to the payouts.

- Like last year, I'll give a player 10 points should they miss a Dubs round for playing in a sanctioned tournament in the Lower 48, as long as they attended the previous 2 consecutive weeks.

- We will have some bring your own partner nights this year, hey will be announced the week before.
