Great end to session #2 of the Rockapsco league! Layout was Recreation tees (yellow bricks) to all A position baskets at Patapsco. Hot round was a tie between Matt D. and Joseph B. at 46. Joseph had the hot front (22) with Matt staying consistent and scoring 23 on front and back 9. Interestingly 2, 9, 11, and 13 were the only non-bogeys, while 10, 14, and 17 didn't get the birds. Overall winners: 1) Swatso, 2) Matt D, 3) Hawk C. Congrats! PDGA fees paid, and I'll mark the event as complete later tonight.

Snowy week #8 Rockapsco PDGA league. Matt D. took the hot round (51) playing Red tees to Short baskets at Patapsco. Eight holes were birdied, but nine holes were double bogied or worse. Back nine average was 2.5 strokes over par, and if yours truly didn't three putt half the field, it would have been much lower. Tavis took the hole 12 CTP from Matt by about 6 inches and Swatso took the hole 2 CTP. Next week we are back at Rockburn with everything in the B position. Stats in the pictures section.

I'll be monitoring the Maryland State Parks Twitter account for closures (https://twitter.com/mdstateparks). I expect the park will OK, but may be delayed if it's too icy. I'll be leaving for the park around 0815 if there is no notice.
1) No delay, registration at 0900, throwing at 0930.
2) If the park opening is delayed less than 2 hours (before 1100), we will still play, 30 min tee off after opening, but no later than 1100.
3) If the park is closed or delayed 2+ hours, we may play at on Sunday 1200 registration/1230 throwing.

I will post on discgolfscene and facebook when I am at the park or if there is a definite closure/delay. If you have questions for me (Jeff S), call or text 443-302-9493.

Another great #Rockapsco league round at Patapsco. Layout was Recreation Bricks to Long baskets. Three-way tie for the hot round (59) between Joe G., Swatso, and Matt D. The spread was 7 strokes (59-66). Some great stats in the pictures section. Shout out to Joe G. and Hawk for putting in threes on the hardest holes (7 and 16). Carlos had the hot front with a 28. Next week will be back at Rockburn. Registration 0900, throwing at 0930.

League scores are up for today's Rockburn (Layout8). Swatso had the hot round (53) and hot back 9 (25), despite two OB holes. Tony P. had the hot front 9 (26) and CTP on 6. Swatso and Justin L. both had field aces on 17A from 100+ ft out. Justin also had the CTP on 18A. Hardest hole played was 9,with 4, 15, and 16 tied for second hardest. Nine of the holes had a player make birdie (2)! Next week (12/2/17) is at Patapsco, layout Recreation Tees (gold bricks) to Long (Green Baskets). Meeting lower parking lot by Tee 2.

Reminder that Round #1 starts this Saturday at Rockburn! Registration 0900-0930, kickoff at 0930 sharp. We will also be doing some tee pad work with park staff after the round. If you aren't playing the Seneca Fall Classic, come throw a round and help improve the course. Note that there are no rule changes for this league from the first session. The new PDGA rulebook goes into effect Jan 1, 2018.
