This will be a fun Tournament with some cool added games.

1. Get a turkey (3 birdies in a row) and you will be entered to win a turkey for
Thanksgiving. Each additional birdie in a row in addition to the first 3 birds get you
an extra entry for each consecutive birdie.

2. We will be bringing our new Totem Pole of Baskets for you to take a chance or 2 on!!
The Totem Pole will be set up in the middle of the field and you will throw from up
where hole 7 was. Cost will be $1.00 per throw . Money will be a 50/50 split.

There are 4 baskets and payouts will be as follows:

Bottom Basket pays 10 % of payout cash.
2nd basket up pays 15% of payout cash
3rd basket up pays 25% of payout cash
Top Basket pays 50% of payout cash Plus a Turkey for Thanksgiving!

3. Plenty of CTP's to go around.

Channel 9 News/WMUR will be there filming and doing a story on the explosive growth of the Hollows League and Disc Golf in the Manchester area. It's a great opportunity to get publicity on everything Breakin Chains and the Queen City Disc Golf Club have done for us players, while also spreading the word on the new store location next to the course.

There's NO ENTRY FEE TO JUST PLAY DUBZ, but Dude Clothing will be offering an optional $20 buy-in that 100% pays out in Dude bucks to the top 30%. Another optional $10 gets you a players pack including a Training Bag, a limited edition Disc Golf Pro Tour Cap, a neoprene Aussie Koozie, and more!

We estimate there were over 1000 glow sticks to supplement the 18 led basket lights that Bryant brought.
The glow round was epic and an awesome end to a fantastic season. Getting up for work the next morning was tough, but it was worth it :)

Pelham Disc Golf Club Tuesday League Finale (plus bonus glow round).

Tuesday, August 29th. Open to all 2017 Pelham League Players.

This is the last Tuesday League round of 2017, and last chance to get points for the season points series.
We will be awarding $1000 in cash and prizes. You won't want to miss it!
No buy-ins, no cash needed for League members this round. Everyone is in for everything!
We'll have 9 CTP holes (at least), with groupings based on average.
There will be all-play beat your average tourney, paying out top 3 finishers.
The Ace Pot will up for grabs as an all-play as well. All $27 of it.
We'll do awards and prizes for the Season Points series, including special prizes such as Most Improved and Most Dedicated.

Schedule:

3:00-5:15 (Pre-Party, Music, Grilling, Eating, Socializing)
4:45 - Checkins open
5:25 - Last Call for checkins
5:30 - Player Meeting, Holes Assigned, Shotgun Start (normal deal)
5:45 - Tee off
8:00 - Rounds Complete (estimated)
8:30 - Awards
9:00-11:00 - Glow Round (For those that can stay)

I'll be picking the following grilling basics to get us started: Burgers, Dogs, Buns, Cheese, Condiments, Utensils, Plates, Foil Pans, Napkins, Chips, Soda, and Water. Mark already has his charcoal gril set up and ready for the event.

Things you can volunteer to bring!
- Any Main or Side Dish, Dessert, or Drink you would like to share
- Large coolers with ice for drink/water/food cooling
- Folding Tables and Chairs
- Camping Lanterns/Lights for home base (it's going to get dark by 8pm)
- Glow stuff: sticks, bracelets, UV lights, glow stickers, tape.
- Anything else you can think of!

I'll be making this same news post on the Pelham Disc Golf Facebook page. We can use the comments there to more easily mention what you're bringing, or see contributions. If you don't do Facebooks, feel free to comment here on DiscGolfScene instead.

We'll need help with the Grill operation. Jeff Furbush and Justin Ober already volunteered to lend a hand on the grill, but the more help the better.

We'll need help glowing up the course. Many hands make a glow round easy. We'll likely divide up the glow goods into bags to hand a bag or two to each group before the league round. When you're done your round, it'll be getting dark and you're group will glow up your finishing hole, and potentially the hole before or after.

Lastly, we'll need help with clean-up. Please lend a hand before you leave so we can leave the course pristine!

Top spot this week was shared by Trevor Howe and Noah Proctor, both shooting a 49 and banking 50 points a piece. This puts Noah (739) back ahead of Billy (736) in a tights points race for 1st. It's going to come down the the final round next week! I expect a bigger than normal turnout, which means big points are up for grabs on the last day!

First place in the beat-your-average race was Todd Daugherty, shooting -10, taking home $18.
Second place went to Fred Lusky, going -9 to get $9.

We had a tie for the Hot Round tonight with Scott Poland and Billy Crane both posting a 47. Scott also beat his average by 10 strokes to get there, gaining him a 2nd place in the
beat-your-average tourney, and $8.

Noah Proctor came out strong again this week, throwing a new league season record low 46 (-10) to take the top spot and 60 points. Great round Noah!
After 15 rounds, its a tight points race with only one point currently separating first and second place on the leaderboard: Billy Crane (722), Noah Proctor (721).

Brandon Daugherty takes first place in the beat-your-average tourney this week, earning $22 for shooting -6.
Second place and $11 goes to Justin Ober, also shooting -6. (will get the $11 to you next week)

Beautiful weather brought 56 players to the course this Tuesday.

Finishing first in scores tonight was AJ Jasper, posting a 47 to take home a solid 61 points.

Bryant Chamberlin takes home the mega pot, hitting an ACE on the CTP hole (#13), AND taking second place in the beat your average tourney by shooting 5 below average. He takes home $412 for the Ace, $36 for CTP, and $11 for the tourney, making $459 total. Congrats Bryant!

First place in the beat your average tourney went to Vijay, shooting a 49 (8 below average), good for $22 cash.

First off, Huge thanks to Bryant Chamberlin for stepping up and running the league round this week while I had a conflict with work. Glad to see everyone was showing Bryant their support and keeping things running smoothly.

46 players came out to play on this hot and humid Tuesday. First place was a tie, going to Billy Crane and Bill Demarino, both shooting 49 and earning 51 points.

Brett Baron wins the Cash CTP, taking home $30.

The bonus CTP was won by Tim Laderoute, taking home delicious and nutritious veggies donated from the one and only Ravanator.

Todd Daugherty wins our Beat Your Average tourney this week, shooting 9 under his avg and banking $26. Second place winner, Bryant Chamberlin, takes $13 for shooting 5 below.

TJ Kenney and Billy Crane shared the top spot, shooting 50 (-6) to take home 41 points each.

TJ Kenney also takes first place in our first Beat Your Average Tourney, shooting 9 down from his average and taking home $36 for the win.
Second place in the tourney went to Scott Poland, shooting 6 below his average and taking home $18.
Honorable mention to Todd Daugherty and Bryant Chamberlin, also shooting 6 down from their averages, but ties are broken by the player with the lower average (Scott).

AJ Jasper had another strong week, taking 1st place by shooting a 51. He earns 59 points for the win.

The Cash CTP on Hole #9 went to Jeff Furbush, taking home $33.

It was a bit damp this Tuesday evening, but we still had a dedicated crew of 40 fired up and ready to go. The wetness ended up getting the best of most of us, but Bill Demarino stood strong, throwing a 51 to take the top spot and 47 points.

CTP payout of $23 goes to... either John Bilsky or Bill Demarino.
Bill firmly held position all night, but ultimately Bilsky's name was the last on the card. Bilsky later confessed to just being an ass and actually landing a couple inches shy of Demarino's shot. So the pot goes to Bill. Except that my records show Bill did NOT buy into the CTP pot, only the Ace pot... So the pot goes to Bilsky? Investigation continues. Watch the drama unfold next Tuesday at 5:30!

Pelham Disc Golf Club (PDGC) presents the 2017 Tuesday League with Season Points Series @ Muldoon Park in Pelham, NH, sponsored by Breakin' Chains Disc Golf.

First round starts this Tuesday, May 2nd!

Check-in starts at 5pm. Cutoff for check-in is 5:30pm sharp.
Group and hole assignments and shotgun start immediately following check-in.

Points -- Get a point for every player you beat each week. At the end of the season we'll total the points from your BEST 14 rounds. There are 18 total rounds scheduled (5/2 - 9/5). The more rounds you play, the more chances you have to improve your best 14!

Top 5 weekly finishers earn additional bonus points:
1st - 5 pts
2nd - 4 pts
3rd - 3 pts
4th - 2 pts
5th - 1 pt

(For example, finishing 1st out of 30 players earns 35 points)

At the end of the season, prizes and payouts are awarded for the top point earners overall, top point earners based on your season average, and special categories such as most improved.

$10 one time buy-in (paid when you sign up the first time)
Each player will receive a 2017 Pelham Disc Golf Club wooden membership mini upon signup, designed by our very own creative master, Matt Stolarz. Use it as a mini or hang it from your bag to show your support for the club!

Optional $1 Closest To The Pin pot and $1 Ace pot every round, all year.
Additional bonus points awarded for winning CTP (2) and Ace (5).

Note: We are simplifying things this year by not doing numbered tags and tag swapping. League announcements will be made at the beginning of the round and/or posted online, instead of after the round. When your group finishes and you report your scores, you are free to go home, or hang around, or go play more disc golf! Unless you are in the running for the CTP or you got an Ace, in which case you should stick around to receive cash.
